At Dawn

It seems you cannot hear
The words I speak to you
And we just can’t appear
In dreams we’re living through
It’s poor connection sign
No tech support can mend
The general decline
“Your message can’t be sent”
Communication’s down
Through fields of memory
I walk, cause I am bound
To find both you and me
The wheel rolls on and on
Looks like it can’t stop turning
But once it stops, at dawn
You hear a ping that morning..
