Tear the thin membrane.
Suck the juices from within.
Pinch the tail and eat.

So cute
I grit my teeth
to stop the urge to squeeze
and pinch those lovely cheeks so cute,
I shake.
First I felt the pinch of pain
and it festered in my oyster brain
till it became a pearl...
a poem dropped into the world.
Pinch
Rarity often governs price,
and availability
more so, than the need,
and acceptance of what is on hand.
Pinch
a pinch of bliss
at third eye and spine
sends us into a spasm of delight
wherein we as a mere receptor
enjoy the boons of grace
When Jesus Christ was, "Sir Come Sized"
His mum said, "That was ill-advised!
In a pinch
One more inch
Can certainly be organised!"
are half full of water
seasoned with a pinch of salt
extracted from abysmal oceans
residing behind faucets
built into our eyes.
They can't believe that they exist
Without a god to make them;
A pinch of ash and a dash of dust
Relying on a great one to bake them.
Beneath this stone lies Uncle Fred
Whose snoring woke up all the dead
Some ghosts arose
To pinch his nose
According to what Auntie said
bury beneath the breeze
shadow, incorporate the leaves
pinch to the so often lead
lazy you got a hold of hear
tangle, oh miss yellow....
A Smidgen 2
Haiku: by Tom
December 14, 2020
A smidgen of salt;
one thirty second teaspoon,
or, just half a pinch.
Fresh unpasteurized sauerkraut
(so probiotic!)
Cooked slowly with sausages,
Potatoes, and ham;
Sweetened with Riesling
A pinch of
Cloves
Jack was oh so lean and lanky
Jill was all for hanky panky
But things went amuck
When Jack's zipper stuck
In a pinch, she found him cranky!
I just met a wonderful wench
With nipples that pop out an inch
Although it just might
Be love at first sight
They'll certainly do in a pinch!
Take life with a pinch of salt
Add black pepper
And chilli sauce
Stir it all up and rub in your eyes
Then try not to cry
That's life

March 17th is a day for green
There is quite a simple routine
Wear green or get a pinch
Or don't and be a grinch
Remember, there's no in-between.
Rolling hills, hermit grabs
pinch me,
I have feelings
I am grateful to see and feel life

Silly Dilly in pursuit of school
Always late which was not very cool
Two legs in his pants
Broke out in a dance
Oh, how that zipper was so damn cruel
Comets cut bedazzling streaks in time
with crescendos and solos divine.
Each meager planet probes with a wince
praying they don't fall within the pinch.
A young girl with bosom to spare
Thought men would adore her firm pair
And found - in a pinch -
Men may grow an inch
But none come equipped with a spare!
George was a man who ate
Everything piled on his plate
You might think this quite enough
He then took a pinch of snuff
How could he use that dreadful stuff
Comedic Penny Pincher
Jack Benny’s
Comedic persona was to pinch pennies.
Every week he would lead his merry band
And Rochester would always get the upper hand.
Patisserie Alice
Roll of stratagem with a pinch of skullduggery
That was the only thing I missed in this pâtisserie
Then one day I won't laugh more
I won't look more, won't write more
A pinch of pain will make me lose
Leaving all dear will go to hazy far

Why can’t you
See
I need
Your hands around me
Why won’t you
Read
The double meanings
In the words I’ve said
Why don’t you
Inch
Nearer to pinch
My hip
