Man and Wife
Dreamcast silver
solid pikes,
made out of human skulls.

Window seated
man and wife,
drown the coach with love.

Angry voices in my head
sense the sight
and smile.

Midnight murder flowing red;
cold delight
reviles....

War of Light and Darkness
When the wheels of time begin to turn
The chosen shall descend
And this world is to be swallowed
By the dark forces we fight

When we raise our blade and bows and pikes
Such a cry shall escape our lips
That victory is upon us and the darkness
Shall be banished...

Tonight, I marveled at a magnificent full moon hanging in the Colorado sky!

It spread its mellow glow upon snow-capped Pikes Peak, so pleasing to the eye!

Contemplating its beauty as I gazed heavenward in awe,

It occurred to me that this was the very same moon that Jesus saw!

Wichita Flats
Wichita Flats was

a town that was once

out west long ago.

Just a sage brush

or two is all

that remains now.

Dance halls thrived

there from one

end of town to the next.

A Cyclone came to

town one day,

carried the town,

clear across Kansas

and beyond, now

Wichita Flats rests

at top of Pikes Peak,

for all to see.

Crimson Witch
Crimson Witch is walking,
See her stealthy stalking
Along the forest trail.
Crimson Witch is grabbing
Children with her stabbing
Fingers—hear them wail.

Villagers are raising
Pikes and torches blazing
As hot as crimson hell;
Witch’s cottage flaring.
Villagers not caring
What the curses tell.

Crimson curses dooming
Villagers, and looming
Immense along the years:
Pestilence descending--
Plague, their bodies rending—
Crimson colored tears....

The sky reflects the broken bodies laid out.
Blood soaked field and severed heads skewered on pikes.
Racing forth towards fallen comrades with a shout.

The sky reflects the broken bodies laid out.
Impaled into the chest, blood flowed there is no doubt.
Haunted Night terrors, squeezing heart-rending pain strikes.

The sky reflects the broken bodies laid out.
Blood soaked field and severed heads skewered on pikes.
