In a bad romance
The pendulum of pain swings
Between two winners
One winning "I love you more"
The other "I'll hurt you more"
Like a pendulum,
Those navajo beads swinging
Upon clothing rack
On which my robes are hanging,
With an aqua quartz dangling.
My life is like a clock
My pendulum swings to the right and left
When I go right I am never wrong
When I go left I am never right
I no longer have hands
No gears or pendulum that swings
No springs or screws
I have become digital
What has time done to itself?
Sometimes fast
and sometimes slow,
the pendulum swings
to and fro.
Is it early?
Is it late?
Let's leave our cares
to time and fate.
You're tired of studying the spring?
Rise above that and learn to swing.
It's oscillatory motion, you bum,
The science of the pendulum.
Crank it up play me a song
Yesterday has been gone for so long
Bring back the memories when life was young
Time has changed because the pendulum swung
how i felt for a year after you left me in the park and your swing kept swinging- like a
pendulum towards my heart:
loneliness crept on every breath
Form:
what
makes
thy soul
an hourglass
who
counts the time
very quickly
and
if
thy soul
an hourglass
then
let the pendulum swing
towards heaven's gate
all sweet memories
pendulum of old clock chimes
antique golden wealth
sun come out
ring the world
with your
sweet light
life shall not
live without
heaven shall not
lose her shine
time swings
the pendulum
back and forth
the hammer falls
setting the pendulum in motion
a moment of truth
after a long silence
held together
by a single baited breath

The pendulum swings both to and fro
over a chest breathing in so slow,
and as the blade lowers down
a smile is seen, not a frown...
breast reduction for a price so low!
I’m amused
I have with me
a trophy
a red ripe tomato
a beautiful flower
a sharp thorn
a pendulum
a tick tock clock
a ping pong ball
a double-edged pin
my lost rib
Power and wealth
Are the
Aphrodisiacs of men
Ancient stones glorify
This immortality, again
Time swings her
Pendulum in this wind
Yet, we carry
These flaws of men
past breaking point wound up to the limit ~ the hour hand passed a minute
said the second hand to the pendulum ~ who snapped, it’s spring time innit

The pendulum springs, the head is cluttered
The pendulum sings, the head is fluttered
The pendulum swings, the head is levered
The pendulum stings, the head is severed
in the
ineluctable
grasp
of an
eye's
blink
the years
of praying
lonely
terrifying
vulnerable
oh,
the agony --
the verdict
life or
death
the
pendulum
swings
With that pendulum you shatter,
killing empathy with your mood swings;
Slivers remain scattered
mixed with understanding,
a pile of rubbish cracking the opulent floor.
Measuring up depends
on which way you look at it
a seesaw rocks from side to side
a pendulum swings to and fro
who says which side the weight is placed
on a pairs of scales.
Because the wind swaggers like
the swaying pendulum blade,
I can tell that the trees suffer too,
when their dew drips like tears
as they flourish horizontally on the ground.
Form:
window glazed by stars
as light hangs on pendulum
dwindling much quicker
than hours of long duskfall …
gone in a blink through time’s frame.
After midnight
the pendulum stalls
Chimes to deaden
as darkness calls
A clanking chain
the haunt begins
Till daylight threatens
—the shadows dim
(Dreamsleep: August, 2022)
between the feral
and the ethereal
lust and love
playoff
soul watches
with bated breath
but the fact there's a game on
signals it's yet work in progress
