Soaring with stingers,
Unsuspecting tiny strikes,
Bee’s protect their hives.

vile venomous vermin
intriguing intertwined insurgent
petulantly promenading patrol
excruciatingly evil exile
ruthlessly relentless reptile
I went on my first Three-Day Pass
And rented a car with no gas
The Shore Patrol came
And said, "What? No dame?
Did you sell your brain to Hamas?"
A Man Named Muldoon
there once was a man named Muldoon
chief of the local dragoon
when out on patrol
he fell in a hole
and hasn't been seen since high noon

Death is the best
For rats for they
Mess up other
People’s lives
Without a care
Loyal-less
Without a soul
Glad there’s a
Piper on patrol
Called fentanyl
By the bulrushes,
Where darting blue dragonflies
Flit like neon sparks,
Hover flies pause and patrol,
In the drunken summers haze,
We sat fishing by the lake.
(aka "Trump's Bottom Line")
Cartel Jesus launched an old crone
High over Trump's Wall on a drone
Our Border Patrol
Went out of control
Snapping photos with their iPhone!
Someone can call you " rebel "
Which is his " her" new label
As you are not under his " her" control
Then he " she" turns to be your new patrol,
That consumes much petrol.
Lock up your daughter,
My wheels gonna slaughter,
Heading along the road,
Race ya, drive this load,
Beat you all, speed patrol,
Trailblazer, this my role,
You'll never catch my page,
I'm the star of this whole stage!
Reduced to a piece of luggage
with memories of hanging gardens
zippers split open with grinning, yellow teeth
I surrender my neatly folded heart
to be confiscated, devoured, and cemented...
by a patrol who cannot border my tears...
Carrie Nation was renown for her scorn
For the havoc caused by john barleycorn
She wielded her axe causing dire consternation
Wrecking bars with what she termed a "hatchitation"

Why exert when God’s in control
Simply empty desire
Thoughts that flow, mindfully patrol
Climb higher and higher
Staid silence is the key
To be here and now free
Unshackled from mind’s tree
Feel bliss spurt
Why exert
White sand, aqua blue Speedo
Umbrella drinks by the pool
Bikinis taunt my libido
What a fool, I'm covered in drool
Then, Beach Patrol spied my spit-slick
Flowing from rented umbrella
They handcuffed me to my joystick
But, I'm still one lucky fella
Craning necks at cranial skies, coiled in Canopic thoughts,
A cavalcade of silhouettes patrol through cosmic courts,
And pressing down these temples, pillars of an ancient pride,
They spill in crowded jungle-time upon what hopes I hide.
along our spine we feel cool heat
mirroring the frontal lobes
essence of presence is upbeat
light of Self glistening in white robes
we are awake and yet in trance
in our form bliss mists patrol
nodes within in joy prance
we are still, God is in control
Swift, agile predators,
sharks patrol coral reefs
swimming silently and
stealthily among the
shadows, they pursue prey,
surgically culling
sick and or injured fish.

every week it seems
we bury a daughter or son
after hundreds of years
this carnage rages on
the D.A. will say
it’s justifiable
and like strange fruit
no one is liable
badges with guns
patrol our street
no protocol
no heartbeat
and the people cry
Sudden rage, we have lost control
There’s no valid reason
Unless love, each thought does patrol
Base instinct, our prison
Heart as our joy temple
Let each touch be gentle
Life led, kind and simple
Ego cage
Sudden rage

Keep your eyes on the road, thoughts in control,
cut your speed right down, watch the school patrol,
play some music soft and sweet to the soul,
think road safety, as you drive to your goal,
precious is life to you, as to them all,
good driving skills help build a safety wall!
Endless miles on mean streets
A patrol that never seems complete
People whom you will see
Who will never be who they wanted to be
And children running around
Late at night no parents found
Too many drinks or too many drugs
Just drive by them with another shrug.

black-water canals
where alligators patrol
and moccasins wait
where starved mosquitoes
invade in hoards at twilight
thirsty for fresh blood
at morning's first light
dawn illuminates cypress
birds announce sunrise
perilous beauty
on display in the Wetlands
and all is at peace
Fear forms frighten, our dreams control
Wherefrom do they arise
Let then pristine silence patrol
Dark thoughts that may surprise
We are the conjurer
Also the prisoner
Released in soft prayer
Feel noose tighten
Fear forms frighten

The power’s in my hand
For God and I patrol
The hour glass has sand
My life I have control.
The power’s in my hand
For there is much to do
Live right God does demand
The answers lie with you.
The power’s in my hand
Each day I will decide
To follow his command
From life I just can’t hide.
The poet police pay attention to
punctuation, they patrol pauses,
comas, and correct enunciation..
The poet police prefer prolific
prose, perfumy pendants so
pen one of those..
Be mindful of what type of
poem you compose.
Pay attention to your tone,
and never ever park your poems
in a no poetry parking zone.
Several semis have jack-knifed
The blizzard has made the air fog-like
Highway patrol has closed the interstate down
Electric cars cannot run in this weather
There is treacherous black ice
Many pile ups of cars, some injured, eight dead
Frostbite is waiting around the corner to set in
Tell me again why we live in the Midwest?
