Peace

Don't blindly follow
you are a true patriot
with a peace sign.

Refuse to carry
weapons that kill a spirit.
Do not shoot at trees.

Through day or night

I'll do what's right

And stand for what is just

Premium Member Revised Nursery Rhyme No 3 - Little Miss Tough

        Little Miss Tough
        Sat on her duff
           whining ‘bout ‘The Amerikan Way’

         Along came a missile
         She heard it whistle
           She's now Little Miss 'P'

Patriot Fire

A laughingstock of history …
America right now
Fifty years of turning left
leading further down

Words alone can’t fix it
so little time remains
Freedom anything but free
—with liberty in flames

THE PATRIOT
With pride
Lonesome
Lady
Reached out
Moist eyes
Spoke out
Her love
Boundless
Selfless
Poured out
Applause
Broke out
Clutching
Award
In hand
For son
Martyred
Battling
For his
Homeland

Guilty on all counts?
Raise the sickle and hammer.
Imprison the fighting patriot,
While the vile mumble and stammer.

Work, so you can be rich?
Your money you no longer own.
You'll own.nothing, be nothing,. Happy?
Maybe if you turn into stone.

Premium Member Soldier of the Forest

the evergreen casts a full shadow, a grayscale vision
she has served as camouflage for raccoons, mice, and snakes
a soldier of the forest, standing against the north winds
showing the woods what a true patriot looks like
animals depend on her confidentiality, security and discretion.

Look Around

LOOK AROUND

Look around at the Queen’s England.
It’s such a magnificent country with a quaint air of happiness.
There is a freedom here like nowhere else on earth.
It’s part of being an English patriot,
of being in love with an English girl,
of shedding a tear when a Spitfire roars past.

Premium Member When to become patriotic

Before his rise,he was a patriot.
His love for the land seemed to soar.
But once in power, his patriotism no more.
A mad man wandering lost and wild
Is more patriotic than him.

Yet,when his reign comes to an end
The cycle spins
Once more a patriot he will become
Round and round the wheel turns.

Untitled #87 / Outside the Capitol

Outside the Capitol
a young veteran is carrying
a flag, upside-down
and a wheeled coffin containing his friend
harsh words are tossed, and a Patriot
sneaks behind, robbing the deceased of his
combat boots. Fly off!
Ah, but quicker feet! Tackled from behind!
Punches thrown! A fight!
Who is winning?

Patriot

patriots die for patriots cause
patriots duties or part of who they are
not for glory or becoming a star
they fight for what they believe in their heart
the spirit to live and create a true dream
a true patriot acts out his own theme
with his life, his will, and his prayer to God
he'll fight unto the end against all odds

Premium Member We Say Goodbye

We say goodbye.
To a monarch.
To a woman.
To a Queen.
To an age.

We say goodbye.
To an England.
To a Britain.
To a Briton.

We say goodbye.
To an era.
To a leader.
To a patriot.
With all her grace.

We say goodbye.
To a smile.
To a symbol.
To a history in all our lives.

We say goodbye.

R.I.P. our Queen.

Premium Member The Unbroken

'Sell out your country' is what they said,
As water kept dripping on his head.
Two days had passed since he went to bed.
'Sell out your country' is what they said.
Three days passed since he had been fed.
Denial of his Rights had not been read.
'Sell out your country' is what they said,
As water kept dripping on his head.

Premium Member chubby patriotic Clown

Chubby patriot clown spun like a top.
I wish he would stop! I wish he would stop!
Why doesn’t he drop? Why doesn’t he drop?
This was said by my lazy uncle Cyclop.

He’s doing okay, grandma interjected.
She knew Uncle Cy was stuck up and affected.
Chubby patriot clown showed off his red, white and blue.
If you were a clown, wouldn’t you too?

Shoeless Joe Jackson

Shoeless Joe an idiot
and still baseball’s patriot

baseball is his passion
he’s not a subtraction

he was pushed out of baseball
for not being smart at all

lacking knowledge is no crime
remove his name from the grime

Joe Jackson placed in shame
he should be Hall of Fame

I’ll say again he did nothing wrong
He played this game of baseball real strong

A True Patriot

Long ago in days of Glory
there was a Man who lived a Story
Our nation strong he did make
a True Patriot- not like the Fake
Father of our Nation was good old George
Man of Character he waged a good War
From Country's Foes he secured the Land
our Freedom won from Tyrants Hand
the Contrast is Stark - his deeds well known
He sold our Country for his Crown.

THE GENUINE HEART OF GERSHON

An avid reader of Soup’s poetry
possessing wolfish prowess of verse,
with a genuine heart we borrow
that blesses his friends sans curse.

The progeny of the Holocaust outburst,
soft tones of thankfulness and love.
In possession of a great sense of humor,
an American patriot, awed by heaven above.

Lazy

O lazy boy
Glutton to sleeping
Doze in reading
When it comes to food
Voracious to food
Not think of future
Think of things not

O lazy boy
Patriot to film
Watch with his heart
Call him hear not
Until you touch his heart
Film do kill brain
With gradual process

O lazy boy
Elephant in playing
Think of thing not
Ask of what read a few hour
Remember not
O lazy boy

Premium Member Flag Day

*Happy Flag Day

Today is Flag Day with protestors here
I will not take down my Flag or cower in fear
I will not apologize for being white
Or an American Patriot, with my flag in sight
I will not kneel to you, or submit
No matter the threats in your violent fit
I will not apologize for something "I" didn't do
But, I will stand for my country, unlike you
