Panic Attack
Heart racing
palpitating
fingers trembling
body shaking
fear the blood won't reach my head
this isn't worth it if I'm dead!...

Lullaby of the Heart
Whirling wings resonate,
Radiating ardent echoes.
The blind shot penetrated,
This lonely desolate heart.

A palpitating rhythm,
Invigorates these lethargic veins.
Lifting what was once down,
And resurrecting life....

Chasing Grey
Pieces of my soul
breaking in two

Fragments of my heart
beating for you

Glimpses of gradient grey
coming into hue

into view

Shadows of me
surrounded by you

Relentless red
meet beckoning blue

color my palpitating palette that grey once knew...

Who Called Him?
Why is heart sinking?
And brain was smoking,
To see him after many years,
Who called him in a party?

What was wrong to me?
Few years ago,
When I were palpitating,
To step on it.

I were happy as a sandboy,
But today,
My mind and body,
Why is a place brick?...

lips of parting lovers quivering
silent tears spilt in the dark
one last palpitating caress
of carnivorous hesitation

two wounded vulnerable lovers
shamelessly sharing in the agony
of heartbreaking defeat

Happiness
Hooray! Hooray!!
Amazingly exuberant happiness
Palpitating from my
Pounding crazy heart
Imbuing latent and
Nascent feeling of love with
Extreme exhilaration--
Sans grief and woe--
Scrumptious jolly ho oh!

Lightning Strikes
Lightning Strikes

By Nathan Hannen

The grey milky sky looked at the earth so far away
Looking down, The sky presented an array of energy turning night into day
The flashing was majesty to a melodic crushing beat
Around earth a psychedelic display, vehement in its intent, A palpitating heat

The End....

Pulsating
Palpitating
The beat of
The Universe
In tuned
Harmonized
Synchronized
With your own
Heartbeat.

The One

Chord, a
Musical chord
A rhythmic
Fluctuating lifeline
Internal force
Energizes...
The beat goes
On and on and on
Endlessly

Hear it, feel it
We're mere bits
Of the universe.

Jumpy Jazz
pulpy punctured passion
pelvics pruning portions
pompous parts palpitating
heaving hoisted feelings

vile Vampire squatting
damped desire drooling
voluptuous teeth smirking

jumpy jazz jostling

Echoing Emptiness
Let my sorrows scatter through the echoing emptiness For the shadows chatter amongst my hearts heaviness Let my palpitating pain retreat upon realms recuperative Thus my love will be complete amidst landscapes lucrative. The Beat
Smooth jazz
Playing on the radio
Hearing the bass
Grooving some more
Stomping on the floor
To the pulsating rhythm
And cadence streaming
To the flowing, fluttering
Oscillating, palpitating
Rhyme ripples
That are shaking
Pounding and quaking
Bopping side by side
With the beeps and bops
Ticking to the vibrations
Of holy beat ecstasy
Into the dark night of the soul...

Soulmate Imaginary
Separated by distances
As time dances in and out
The evolution of our being
Caught so tight, interwoven
Hearts palpitating, pressing
To expolore each possible nuance

There's a carnival of imagination
Left poised on every vacant lot
Teeming on the market
With unusual resale value

Captivating soul dance ether
Murmuring through density of dreams
Your thick breath whispering heat
Draws me towards the infinite...

Ill-Will of Lies
Palpitating breath of Greed
Masks the Voice of Conscience
When one seeks to be redeemed
Unveils what was tucked away

Hidden until required
Unmasked something different
Once neglected hastily
Loses conscience itself

Loathes being Provoked
Returns at a great price
Tragedy of what it was masked over
Feeds on the ill-will of lies

Heart Attack
Breathless gasps
Agonizing spasms
Ice-cold sweat beads
Fingers clutch a fading heart, palpitating with grief
In a moment, the rapacious pain recedes
Burdened by scorn and disbelief
Fingers unclasp as the beads disperse
As the pressure ascends to give way to relief
Vows of friendship relinquish their crown to deceit
Don’t reminisce… you’ll risk an arduous repeat

                            Betrayal… a lifelong heart attack...

Love's Arrest
From the first time we met,
I could feel it;
my excited heart palpitating
each time we met thereafter
can bear me witness
I craved your company.
But i needed time
to reassure me
this feeling flowing
in my veins
wasn't heading
for an untimely death.

I ignored
your beckoning hand at
first.
But ,soon,you closed in on
me,
and I know now
I've got no more chances
under heavens,
oh poetry,
to resist your love's
arrest....

Premium Member Glass Slipper in Moonshine
Midnight came and went as perilous as a wolf howling at the moon.
—by poet

Tease of time, palpitating pearls, she’s flirting with the bluest eyes, framed in heaven’s clouds. Girlish curls capture a sigh and peer clockwise. With princess charm, she winked, half-turned to run, ascend the starry night. One glass slipper in moonshine; spurned like a pauper in class-ignite. Will the foolish prince sip from the glass?

It's Time To Astound You
with nary a sound
I walk up behind you
and kneel on the ground
a smile on my face
a glint in my eyes
as my arms wrap around you
with a pleasant surprise
gentle persuasions
wet lips in a race
hot breathe on your back
I've quickened your pace
and now
my fingers are darting all over the place
temperature's rising
hearts palpitating
cosmic vibration
skin scintillating
I know you can feel me
I'm glad that I found you
breathe deeply my love
'cause it's time to astound you...

Said My Wondering Eyes
Said my wondering eyes.
Your image tantalizes me.
mischievousness pierces
through lascivious eyes
sinking into mines,
waiting to touch.
A sugary kiss
on soft lips
lusciously pasted.
My palpitating heart
like a butterfly revel to nectar,
with magic slowing its wings,
and gloating it's colors.
Never will we part.
Oh ecstasy Indeed I am indebted,
This tingling excitement of a day dreamer
and a sweetness to savor.

Anchor. The Devil can look
spiffy and sharp: a big city
Governor quoting scriptures,
her voice, soothing and melodic,
though a lying Harp – The
Devil can mandate vaccines
for children, needlessly putting
darts of drugs, that may cause
lethal damage, in the arms of
developing young bodies with
tearful eyes and palpitating hearts –
The Devil is alive and well...
transforming American into
an experimenting Hell!...

Premium Member A Tangible Love
A tangible love I love to love
I've touched love one billion times
I've held hands in every rhyme
The rhythm of my heart betrays me
With every palpitating poetic line

Is it a sign?
Of true love a love divine
 the will of the love
Struck heart be done.
I touched her face I've claimed

A delicate space in her heart between
The velvet lace and poetic paradise
Love is there
If the rhythm of the heart does
Not flow on, this love be gone

The heart moans a TWILIGHT song...

Drowning
I am drowning!
Deep in the main!
Chocked!
I am hardly breathing!

Am I dying?
 Or in a blithe
Of ecstatic oblivion

Hey! There is pain!
Something……I can’t explain
May be a painless pain
As if honey bees stinging
But just honey! No agony!!

Heebie-jeebies running
As if I am stolen

I’m hunting; hurtling
For contour of my own

Craving; raving
Frantic trying
To feel my soul in
My palms palpitating

Yes! I am drowning
In your love-ocean!!!...
