Do It Right
Blend the chemicals
arouse the sleeping patient
don't overdo it
the patient may become harmed
do it right and heal the lame

Just Do It, Now
Jump right in,
Unless you
Start,
Things won’t get done.
Don’t
Overdo or
It may
Tire you too fast.
Never procrastinate
Or you
Won’t achieve your dreams....

Tickle Me Pink
Why don’t you go and tickle me pink?
When I’ve had enough, I’ll give a wink.
If you overdo,
I just might turn blue.
I might throw up my guts in the sink.

Pumped and Ready
Pumped and ready to start a new day
Bringing it on no matter what comes my way
Can you believe it
Must watch for censorship
At times overdo it and exhibit a naughty display...

Animal French Kissing
When animals french kiss, they overdo it at times
Even gorging themselves which I call “stepping over the line”
They're known to have dim wits
But even they have their limits
So keep your tongue inactive and things will be fine...

Erring On the Side
If caution is the side on which
You are supposed to err,
It’s possible to overdo it,
So you should beware.
It may be better letting time
Or nature take its course
And then you wouldn’t suffer from
Annoyance or remorse.
There is a line to draw between
What’s prudent and what’s dumb,
But sometimes fear kicks in and makes
It easy to succumb....

What Is a Person To Do
Daddy’s gone a hunting
Mommy’s out there too
Looking for job with a broken left shoe
No one is hiring anyone
The rent is way overdo
The world is upside down
Pandemic has brought flu
Rumors turn quite serious
What’s a person to do?
It surely is not possible
We will have to be social distanced
Until two thousand twenty-two
I do not feel this is living
How about you?

Masophrenia
Time to turn the other cheek
‘Cus this one’s lost its feeling
Better let it rest a bit
Before the bruises lose their meaning
I’d hate to overdo it
And make you callous to the pain
Don’t want to over stimulate
If you’re dead there’s no need for chains
Want to keep you trapped here
And I want to taste your scream
Just don’t make my voice familiar
Can’t let me know that you are me...

Have a Listen
HAVE A LISTEN
No one could stand it
A long quiet period
Yes! intense quiet
We who are so used to noise
We would go stark raving mad!
And what antidote?
Why the antidote is noise
With electric shocks
Little spurts of pure LOUD noise
But don’t overdo.
Look at today’s world
A world gone stark raving mad
A world in love with
NOISE! The worst cacophony
God grant us peace and quiet...

Just a Brief Diversion
Picked up a "girly" magazine
Some put such mags down
If you overdo porn it is no good
But looking at beautiful naked woman
must be understood
To be a relevant past time
and yes in this poem
I do rhyme
Most modern poets do not
As to all your verse
Thanks a lot!
To you out there in the dark
Your poetry resembles a lark!
Singing in the wind
and yes I have sinned
But I do love poems
Hurry up and write your own
Thrill your readers - to the bone!...

Magdalena's Den of Sin
I’m in a salt and pepper dive called Magdalena’s Den of Sin,
Long overdo for dry dock, with my keel hogged out of line.
I’ve just enough good cheer to ring a single jingle bell.
Outside of that, the climate on the weather deck is fine.
I've got my ducks lined up, soon I’ll be shooting them down
So that I’m ready when those saints come marching in.
I’ll use a few smooth maneuvers to raid the barmaid’s port
In this sailor’s house of worship, Magdalena’s Den of Sin....

Poetry Types
Learning new types of poetry
Imagination gets to rejuvenate
Fueling my dendrite highway
Enthusiasm personified so thank you
Life as I know it
Has made me a poet
I can often show it
But sometimes I blow it
Simple way of life
Poems come to me in dreams
This is no secret
Parading in my twilight zone
Very often in a poem
Learning new poetry types is fun.
As I bask in the warm summer sun.
Tanka is new
Learning long overdo
Now my friends, I really must run…....

A Do Over For You
Come closer, dearie, and let me tell you
About a cleansing concept, I know that is true
It revitalizes and freshens your likeability too
A concept that starts with a clean slate overdo,
You can start all sparkly and dazzling, giving a coo.
A resounding theme which is clearly the opposite of boo hoo
We are all starting with a diamond fresh page with no goo.
A clean white pristine canvas. Of course, the concept is new.
A happy fresh start, clean, and joyful, a do-over for you!...
