Erring On the Side

If caution is the side on which You are supposed to err, It’s possible to overdo it, So you should beware. It may be better letting time Or nature take its course And then you wouldn’t suffer from Annoyance or remorse. There is a line to draw between What’s prudent and what’s dumb, But sometimes fear kicks in and makes It easy to succumb.

I wish we could all remember this at all times "There is a line to draw between What’s prudent and what’s dumb,"

A verse of wisdom Ilene, but to get on in life we have on occasion got to take a risk. Tom

Ilene, it's getting late here in Chicago, and I'm in a mood, so here goes: 'Customers should see salami -- with 'erring on the side!' ~ Alan Sherman

I like this poem very much, Ilene. It makes a lot of sense. Sometimes it is far better to merely let nature take its course. Yes! Good writing, as always.
