Learning new types of poetry
Imagination gets to rejuvenate
Fueling my dendrite highway
Enthusiasm personified so thank you

Life as I know it 
Has made me a poet
I can often show it
But sometimes I blow it

Simple way of life
Poems come to me in dreams
This is no secret
Parading in my twilight zone
Very often in a poem

Learning new poetry types is fun.
As I bask in the warm summer sun.
Tanka is new
Learning long overdo
Now my friends, I really must run….
