In her world there is no lah-dee-dah

The frogs are dancing and laughing with delight
Having no idea they have stolen the feline’s light

Come and join us! They sing to the persnickity kitty.
Their non-melodic croaks are in no way pretty

The cat holds on to her anger, because she can.
Finally slinking off to an alley in no man’s land....

If Circe were to steer your craft

Many have Covid in the seat of God?
Beating freedom lovers with their pens
That are now just punishment rods.
