Preposterous..?

To our conditioned selves
The proposition of our
Thoughts originating beyond
Our limited body and brain
Seems..well..preposterous..
It remains preposterous
Until life circumstances
Render a new Recognition
Slowly or quantum quick
Of What we are......

Blue
Once thought a merely mundane matter,
Confronted by daily matters,
Until a sudden overcast
Shining,
A soft blue hue reflecting unto the walls,
Originating from the surface.

Entranced and in utter awe,
I could fall asleep,
In your encompassing blanket
Of pure hypnotic coolness....

Premium Member Screen of Consciousness
The unmanifest reality
A pulse of continuity
Upon which images reflect
That which senses detect

Just as space is boundless
Formless and attributeless
Containing a pulse of duality
Originating from singularity

No-thing-ness
The emptiness
Absoluteness
Pure awareness

Unmanifest

Premium Member Magnets In the Beginning
When we first met it had seemed such a sure bet,
that it wasn't a bet at all.
It was visceral, a feeling originating from deep within.
If we were in the same room, or far away
it was as if we swallowed powerful magnets,
and were drawn to each other.
Felt like we had to be together.
Felt like we had to touch in some way....

Premium Member My Poems
My poems are like my memories
Some long, some brief, some rotten.
A few will last my lifetime
And some are best forgotten.

My memories of long ago
My poems of today
Are intertwined and so designed
They each have much to say.

Originating deep within,
Mind doesn’t know they’re there
Until some trigger brings them forth
My very soul to share....

Bichon Frise
BICHON FRISE
Bichon frise or is it curly lapdog you prefer?
Pray, do make it known
Descendant of a water spaniel originating in ancient times
In the Mediterranean area
Used as barter by sailors
Your solid white coat is silky profuse
Not silky confuse
I get it now
You are prized for your lively intelligence
And is usually groomed and trimmed
To give a “powder puff” appearance....

The Rooster
His skin, with the texture of gravel,
And the color of lava; he is The Rooster.
He possesses a look of determination,
Originating from the depths of his charcoal pupil.
At a first glance, a volcanic eruption is a fair comparison.
His eye is the sun, tinted with red, exploding with yellow.
The hairs, ever so fine, sparsely lay upon his face,
Almost setting boundary lines around his eye....

Premium Member Seasonal Affective Syndrome
I tumble while staring into your eyes. In hues fitting the month of December. My wandering spirit is rekindled. My frailties break down like puzzles. Originating in the kindness of words. Walk over frozen tears like a blizzard. In echoes of the dazzling effect, Winter nights attract seasonal sadness. Building my own inner radiance.

In the shade, I shrivel in flowering cactus crafting sloppy verse below the scraggly exhausted moon warm reverberations of love originating in the Jade Garden nerves jangling in my true being the magnificent encounter of how to melt this iron reluctance dreams can feel most real than actual life every day as I unseal my eyes.

Premium Member Money Is No Motivator
Money is no Motivator Pride, not Salary motivates a man to be his best! Rightly or wrongly others label us based on what they observe, Or from dialog originating at the tongue of others; If your efforts are slipshod at $15.00 an hour They’ll remain that way at $50.00 Motivation comes from within; I can’t make you do anything, But I am capable of making you wish you had. Boundary Walls
Originating in the ‘Iron-Age’, they stand
as living history; a testament
to the craftsmanship of men of yore

built by hand, each stone
strategically placed one upon another
no mortar holds them, and yet
as our lands circulatory system
of boundaries
they’ve stood for centuries

arteries and veins of dry stone wall
flowing across the fields and hills
of the countryside
that is synonymous of rural England....

Morning
Morning

When you wake up each morning a
great start of
the day is a
glass of
amniotic fluid originating from
the womb of a
woman with a
baby or
babies inside her so
you can diagnose the likely abnormalities in the
foetus before they can be
abnormal. Possible side effects: part or
total memory loss, instant employment in
the public sector, parking tickets will
follow you around, stalk you, and
you’re voice box may turn to
static mode.

Spaceship
As I drift along the cosmos
taking eons for my thoughts to osmos.
Here’s an idea that might sound ALIEN,
just show some MOON to keep from failin.
Originating from a place called Ur-anus,
not a PLANET but designed to contain us.
Try converting your STUN GUN
to ignite the methane for fun.
You’re destined to be a galactic STAR,
by keeping those cheeks ajar.
If you try this poetic dictum
don’t explode or you’ll become a victim.
You need to arrive sans detonation
uncharred by self-immolation....
