Precious

There is nothing more
PRECIOUS
than a breath,
a life,
that felt the way here,
in the dark,
out of a soul pact of necessity,
and became YOU.

Dynamic Force of Life

Life always action
alive, physics, chemistry
body, soul, interaction.

We are this liveness,
reality without mime
we act out of necessity

to process harmony
carrying cosmic power,
exhaling all magic...!

Living a Proactive Life

Always positive life

alive, physics, chemistry

body, soul, interaction.

We are this activeness,

reality without mime

we act out of necessity

to process harmony

carrying cosmic vitality,

exhaling all magic...!

Premium Member The balm that is sought

Guilt

Rides with separation

Peering into the past

Finding a story

Wrapped in shame..

Forgiveness seems

Distant with a doing

Of necessity

Blocking the way..

Separation's hold

Seems what is

Happening..which

May be the balm

Which is sought...

Despondent
we felt
doing deeds
donned by illusions of necessity.

Drat
we thought
disowning our dignity
drowning our dignity
driving our dignity
down into delusions of
dominance.

Do-di-do-do
we knew
when spontaneously
life came to the streets

and we did
what we
know how to do.

The Edge of Life

The Heron stands motionless
feathers mimicking the leaves
of slowly swaying saplings

its stoic Buddha pose
silent in its presence
conflicts with its purpose

instincts wily wisdom
poised of necessity
on the edge of life

Premium Member Wandering Clouds

At the moment we are but
wandering clouds chased across the
sky of existence

by

the winds of necessity, and consumed
by the sun of voracious time,

why

do we waste our ephemeral life hating,
instead of filling our hearts with love
sublime?

Got No Words

Seldom I write
poetry like this
out of scratch mind.

Maybe, out of curve
and ordinary nuances
this life I shared.

No one knows when
to write, how you start
just out of necessity.

Words are like kites
the more you write
the faster it soar.

Just end with it
hanging in the eyes
of my beloved readers.

Free Flowing Spirit Of Love

First come, first served love
Is confusing and detrimental
Kind of relationship heart thing.

Never love if force is being made
Neither happiness with money based
A guarantee of secured relationships.

Give love not out of necessity
But love that is pure and natural
An attraction that is free flowing spirit.

Unusual Easter

May the beauty of Nature in Spring,
Fill you with wonder, joy and peace,
Through this unsettling era so baffling,
Supporting you til our confinements cease.

Isolated of necessity this holiday season,
Yet thankful for animals in our lives,
who buoy and console, our mutual love easing,
Strains we'll soften with safe hugs to survive!

Day of Reckoning

One summer hot,
clear day,
It was time to deal with dirty laundry.
In silence,
with a countenance of stone,
unrevealing deep emotions,
things of necessity were done.
She hung bleached-white sheets
out on the line to dry,
then, turning to him,
her iron will broke,
storm clouds rose,
her eyes accused,
yet, all she could say was;
“Don’t leave.”

Procrastinating

P anic gnaws a little hollow
R ight beneath my rib.
O ver a deadline my mind stumbles
C reating distraction adlib.
R ancid are the thoughts of necessity
A ccosting my fragile frame;
S urely I can avoid the crime
T empting me to shame:
I
N eglect my history paper.
A crostic I write instead.
T ruth be told:
I
N ow procrastinate . . .
G od help me focus my head!

Mindfulness

Be mindful of what you consume, for it shapes your being.

Nourish your vessel with compassion, as your diet influences your inclinations.

Choose your music judiciously, for rhythm resonates deeply with your soul.

Be mindful of what you read, as words penetrate straight to your heart.

Always practice prudence, for the devil’s trickery often hides in the guise of necessity.

What They Don'T See

I'm not as cold
as I can come across
you know
I kinda
learned these
unemotional responses
out of necessity
the need to survive
block it out
or you break down
my final defence
don't think
don't feel
pretend you're okay
not that bothered either way
so I let the world see
me as cold
and later
in the silent
sanctuary of solitude
maybe stabbed by a line
in a song or poem -
then
I break down

COPLA 87 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World

If you zero into the centre
Of your existential doubts :
You’ll disappear

You cannot be the prime doubter
And the subject of your own doubts :
To see clear

What you see must of necessity
Be past the curve of your time-space :
Gone is the trace

When everything can with certainty
Be known to have stayed in its place :
All’ll end by grace

The Art of Necessity

As a girl,
I sat at the foot of
 A premier violinist…
His music captivated the imaginations of all fortunate listeners
The soulful notes escaped from his instrument thrusting
                   Into the cerebrum then
                          On to subconscious, subliminal mind
Heralding that music is no luxury
But a necessity for a charmed existence

Premium Member A Silent Deception

A SILENT DECEPTION
Intimacies of our lives,unspoken
essentials of the everyday routine.
Taken for granted,matter of fact
hidden away behind the façade we
present to the world.A mask contrived
to present an image conceived
to hide our true personality.
A silent deception,born of necessity
cripples the reality that encompasses all.

You may hear me recite this verse and most of my PS poetry on you tube under my pen name ichthschiro.

Sometimes a Snapdragon

sometimes a snapdragon
breaks the neck of necessity,
crushes the head of instinct.

the cheese in the trap,
the bait on the hook.

the proof in the poison,
love like antifreeze.

hearts snapped in bear traps,
hope singed by blue light.

cupid is an angry wasp
seeking those with allergies.

beware of vibrations in loud voices,
hollow logs and impulsive choices.
stay clear of fields of flowers,
dark quiet eaves and empty hours.

My dearest Rose
You came to me
In infancy stage.

I took you to my breast
To give you nourishment
Out of necessity of life.

As I knew you would
You took it willingly
Of course, you should.

I had three others
Before you came
Though I took you
Just the same.

When you looked
Up at me with
Those baby blues.

I fell in love with you
Though I love my own
Children all the same.

I wish you luck
And happiness
Throughout life!!!

A Poem Is Born

The pen meets the paper
And it's love at first sight
For apart they are nothing
But together they will write

A marriage of necessity
For their need is just too great
Joined together in marital bliss
Their purpose is to create

Inspiration is their maid of honor
Creativity, their best man
The writer is the minister
And the chapel, the writer's hand

The words are the flowers
For the paper to adorn
And as the pen meets paper
That's when a poem is born

Love Is Really a Monster

Just to make things clear,
we never loved each other.
You hit me, like a fist,
colliding into my veins and
picking up the pace when you
felt my heartbeat quicken.
It was so that you could always outrun me,
catch up and convince me otherwise.
Coercion was always easier than connecting.
I've tried to keep you at a distance,
but every now and then,
you throw me a bone, or two, so,
I've built my own monster of necessity,
a skeleton that only resembles you.
