Rose
My dearest Rose
You came to me
In infancy stage.
I took you to my breast
To give you nourishment
Out of necessity of life.
As I knew you would
You took it willingly
Of course, you should.
I had three others
Before you came
Though I took you
Just the same.
When you looked
Up at me with
Those baby blues.
I fell in love with you
Though I love my own
Children all the same.
I wish you luck
And happiness
Throughout life!!!
