Not For Kids
Not for kids

 Graphite of pencil,
 Writing by my shadow
  Smiling of sound
 War by dis maan
 Palette of gold like sun
 Dance of odours
love of my soul
  Rain of sea & sand
 Lighting of death
 Pain of blank
 Romance of my princess smile
Burning Haa Haa of my maan

 Not for kids , dear

With love all
jagdish bajantri...

Feel how you think
Thoughts on the brink

See how you sight
Themes in the light

Touch how you touch
Tap what you nudge

Hear how you sound
Heed space that grounds

Taste how you sense
Flavours intense

Smell how you scent
Odours and blends

Feel how life tells
Where beauty dwells

To----
To________
Music ,when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory...
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.
Rose leaves , when the rose is dead ,
Are heaped for the beloved's bed
And so their thoughts, when you are gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.
As the moon glows upon trees
The birds will sing a song so pretty only
To____...

Things Will Change
I smelled the nook and crannies
And perceived pleasant odours.
The scintilating mood and style
Of the once indifference atmosphere.
The cruel breeze made league with me,
Joy and Happiness were betrothed.

Then i wondered what may be amiss?
If nature could lend me at least.

Yet my heart is embroided with merry:
I'll wait to see what's coming.

Sweet
The foosty smell of her unworn silks
tries to mask her scent
but my nostrils hunt angrily
tip-toe passed the odours
that try to mask her essence.
When that trace is finally found
i linger there
in daylight tendrils
trying to remember
what the taste of happiness
was like
but all those memories
only fracture the broken
parts that lie
in piles
somewhere deep inside...

Dark desires nonplus,
each life breath tests us,
moment to moment ~
lust odours ferment.

Our mind-body urge
self-blocks the bliss surge;
darkness shrouds darkness,
distanced from oneness.

Fall from grace our shame.
Stupor is to blame.
We’ve a lot to learn ~
see how instincts burn.

Regret and remorse
corrects our life course,
becoming mindful
of the divine pull.

In Difference
What if I saw things differently?
Like a moon unveiled by a setting sun
Like a stranger revealing with a glance
A landscape in the furrows of a face
Wishes that become commands
The shadow of a drape assuming a new form
The obvious becoming a mystery

What if the solid dissolves?
And I gulp without compunction
Sniff the odours of commotion
Abandon and trust
In difference

crumbling leaves drift with wind naked branches shiver crisp scarlet, gold carpet is laid onwards misty fog fills the air masking grey gloomy skies brisk breeze blows pinecones into puddles odours of faint wood smoke like an earthly perfume infuse dawn's dewdrops on iced fields ahead hungry blackbirds hover searching for sweet berries blanket of dark clouds cover sky home time!

A Nation Lost
A treacherous incline,
inside the latent hollow called fate
Discoloured cloaks
stripped from abandoned warriors
A stunted scream
lingering adrift of sacred sounds
Pride ran aground
as foul odours mask the shame
Children in graves
returned to soiled anger and grief
A lewd excuse
assigned to collateral human fragments
A crass intent
to weld deprivation to imprisoned provision
To sell despair
and buy it back as hope...

Feel how you feel
Without clear will

Sense how you sense
The present tense

Know how you know
A pretty show

Taste how you taste
Hear hurry's haste

Smell how you smell
Odd odours tell

Touch how you touch
Craze messes much

See how you see
Glimpse bold fancy

Hear how you hear
Far can look near

Write how you write
Blush strokes recite

Tell how you tell
Prize sacred dwell

With You When Harsh Feelings Die Stirs
WITH YOU WHEN HARSH FEELINGS DIE (stirs--)

Love when harsh feelings die-stir my heart
fields like gold dreams sticking life
like humming bird's wings ~ hmm and imagine;
a bright sun hangs in place that burns my heart
feels mighty like olden days
when i picked red roses
which left all pink
--dreams which remind me of you
as June's garden full
of odours like when sweet
violets sicken. Then will
be you and me happy?

Why can't I play with shiny balls
And climb that Christmas Tree
Why bring a tree into the house
Then say it's not for me

Why can't I help with wrapping paper
I love to play with twine
Oh please, I only want to help
While you sit and sip your wine

I love to smell your kitchen odours
Turkey, pork and ham by the ton
That cooking drives me up the wall
But then I act the sneaky one

That's when you kick me out the door
You really spoil my fun, and that's for sure...
