an oddball aunt and her quirky niece
were known for their joyous caprice
without saying why
they’d soar into the sky
traveling happily south with the geese

“Two’s company; three’s a crowd,”
And someone is left out in the cold
Hopefully the oddball can be proud
When the entire story is being told.

Written: August 02, 2023 ________________________________________________________________ Oysters form pearls bright, Womb of the sea, pure wonder, Nature's vibrant crown. Sapphire depths conceal, An oddball of nature's art, Diver's precious find. Peddling pearls so rare, Nacre's colorful cuddle shines, Nature's treasures sold.

Premium Member Had My Fill
Sad indeed the tears we shed in hollow marshland
streams,
bad vibes worsen childhood fears, they shatter midnight dreams,
mad at tactless ghostly jeers and oddball moonlight beams,
had my fill of twilight years when chasing eye blind schemes,
fad disowned by trendy peers who look quite miffed it seems,
glad I’m one with bright careers and happy prospect teams...

Trump Pots Up Stir and More
Trump Pots Up Stir

Trump many pots seems up likes to stir;
Oddball as new President who did occur;
Some said;
Loser bred;
In White House saw mounting manure.

Trump and Tiny Paws

Saw Trump starting to sharpen claws,
That had been attached to tiny paws,
That de did inherit;
Was a Polly Parrot;
Even an idiot never knowing any laws.

Life Doesn'T Always Rhyme
Some days I listen
Some days I talk
Some days I run
Some days I just stroll

Some nights I sleep
Some nights I read
Some nights I follow
Some nights I just wander

Sometimes I will
Sometimes I won't
Sometimes I rhyme
Sometimes... Not so much

Life does tend to act up a lot
It operates on its own time
And for some oddball reason, in spite of us all
It doesn't always sound the same...

Click click clack are you part of a clique?
Or do you beat to your own drum?
I must admit I'm often the oddball
When I was young, it bothered me so
However, I’m comfortable in my skin.
It took me years to feel this way.
Click click clack do you envy the in crowd?
Remember we; all are unique,so beat
your drum loud and clear even if the
haters gawk and stop and stare.

sleepy v a l e n….snore
the day cupid wore
me out with pain and meds

sleepy v a l e n..biz
busy that is
for my love

this holiday’s not
a bunch of chocolate
or gifts…i don’t care

‘cause we’ve suffered
through good and bad
weathered the storm

letting the fish off the hook
my man i so love and
besides we bought a car

this one is just the oddball
year of pain and cheer
yes cheer because i’m loved

Guess who has the brains and the
Courage!
Plus the forces to overtake the Ukraine?
That’s because he still has a brain?

We , in the USA, are leaderless.
By a cry baby .......with no mind.
It’s a tragedy to observe US citizens,
Constantly lied to.

Crime is rising, inflation here is insane.
And the oddball in office, worries....
That the next election will be framed?
He knows he cheated to make this one
bear his name!

Premium Member Extra Pizzazz Jazz
Listen to poem:
The oomph and zing of extra spin
adds razzmatazz to shot akin
to the standing ovation din
a hole in one gets for a win.

The cream screams to the top.

The razzle and dazzle of dance
shake, rattle and roll of romance
is enhanced by the oddball prance
of a jitterbug jive freelance.

Bebop is king of pop.

Jazz embodies the extra dash
of syncopated mish and mash
adding gems of splish, splosh and splash
improvisation in a flash.

Flip-flop until you stop....
