Premium Member A Sigh

In days long gone by I knew the meaning of a sigh Hopeless resigning; I simply gave up No use complaining, No argument remaining.

India's Mukesh, Kavi Pradeep, My Death

No argument, no caste, nothing will matter
When India's erstwhile maestros sang in Hindi
Though mine is sparse, their songs made me traditional
O cultural shell! Wired so Indian, South African me
Millions in India, thanks Bollywood, will still sing along

Which Is It

parasitic or
symbiotic an
artistic riddle

for this
conundrum
condition of

bipolarism
but not an ism
for i am me and

she is she
no argument
between id and

ego for i
know she is
not me but a

part of my
life so never
shall we ever

bee
           a
   part

Premium Member the spiritual heart

here it goes again
that unmistakable sensation
in the centre of our chest
the light of Self

we have no argument
with words written by sages
which may be at variance
with these pulsations

we walk the path alone
vibrant in solitude of blissfulness
where form and vast space
entwine in rapture

Premium Member Primary Laws Of Magic

There must be a square to form a circle,
four women to call every element;
Together they are a force of nature,
joined by every celestial particle;
An equation’s sum has no argument,
there’s no solution except an answer;
Spell-casting as one the strongest skill,
in the air hangs their collective flavor;
Bound and connected for the moment,
primary laws of magic always will
                      endure.

Distance

Distance between families
Distance between friends

The time apart hurts, not matter how much we pretend.

If you miss somebody
you should let them know

Hold and squeeze them tight, and never let them go

no argument or fight
is worth losing touch

they are our families and friends, and we love them so much

drifting apart, can make you feel really alone

so do yourself a favour, and pick up the phone!!

So far away . . .
I know why you're there,
heard all the reasons.

I've no argument with
the why of it, but
missing you hurts.

I need your arms,
your solid strength,
now spent on foreign soil.

In my dream, I feel you
lying next to me, your
voice rumbling in my ear.

I reach out for you, touch
empty space, cold sheets.

Longing overwhelms me,
tears fall unheeded.

Tomorrow I will wear
my cloak of courage,
tonight I weep alone.

Premium Member Tale of Dictionary Pup

dictionary pup wanted to know each and every word.
he read the encyclopedias, which some said was absurd.
he took a pile of magazines and novels to his bed.
falling asleep among books that were green, blue and red.

you have to cut this out, his mother said, quite stern.
but how else will I glean knowledge? How else will I learn?
she had no argument for that, so he kept doing what he did.
he is a college professor at Yale, this inquisitive pup kid.

An Enterprise of Surprise

He started A Sharp Enterprise
And it was A Thing of Surprise:
Big Shops you walked up to their shelves
To survey the items yourselves;
Many a sure lasting garment
That should permit no argument,
Which one could wear till Interment
And still not be starved compliment …

A lot of Touching Friendliness
Because of his stamped Godliness:
A Policy of Dialogue
And rejection of Monologue;
He’s floating an Enterprise,
Where one might negotiate price.

Premium Member The Letter of Resignation

Your note said, "I resign from being your wife."
"I want a divorce and a new life."
I never expected this letter of resignation.
There will be no argument or arbitration.

Thanks for sparing me the drama with your resignation letter.
You may find you can't do any better.
A notice to terminate the marriage is not required.
Effectively immediately you are fired!
