the spiritual heart

here it goes again
that unmistakable sensation
in the centre of our chest
the light of Self

we have no argument
with words written by sages
which may be at variance
with these pulsations

we walk the path alone
vibrant in solitude of blissfulness
where form and vast space
entwine in rapture

I have many poems referring to our eternal 'spiritual I am'/soul as ever dwelling in our chest, lifelong with us if we but have awareness. I think many adrenaline rushes are our soul's reaction to sensations that remind it of 'heaven's' feel such as nature, sensations of flight/freedom (i.e., motorcycles) or poems/other that excite it with truth. So while reading, I felt my spirit connect with yours to say hi - did you hear it? CayCay

Now, we're on the same page, I asked spirit for a harmonious conclusion to our exchange ... so glad it came to be ... CayCay

Thanks for your insights and providing information. I alluded to feel though, not sound, never has there been sound. Be golden ... CayCay

The inner sound current (not tinnitus) you allude to is something else. You can read about it in the book, Naam or Word by Kirpal Singh. The heart centre where we may cognise the unstruck sound is another matter, you can read of it in works of Ramana Maharishi, Robert Adams and Santosh Sachdeva. The Self refers to our true being, living light in singularity, which is what is made in God’s image.

"Then stirs the feeling infinite, so felt In solitude, where we are least alone." Lord Byron...go with the greats.
