Day and Night

During day i work
Because it's time to work,
And sleep at Night
Because it's time to sleep.
Day is to work
And Night is to rest.
Day and Night
All makes a day.

Premium Member As Night Descends - a Rondelet

As night descends
God's paintbrush colours the night sky.
As night descends
purple, pink and violet blends.
An artist's mural floating by.
Beauty to bring tears to the eye,
as night descends.

Sterling tribute to spent fray

Sunrise

How is it one can turn away
From the blossoming of the day
Saying the darkness and depravity
Of night is more pleasant to see?

True it is I enjoy the touch
Of the night far too much
But when one is awake for break of day
The beauty is more than words can say.

The Night

The night is young
Everything is so beautiful
Be hide the clouds
Lies the full moon
Darker the night
More everything shines
Stars, moon, and darkest
Makes night more magically
I can stay in the night forever
Day can never come close
To the dark
The night is beautiful

Frozen Bill

Laid off, Unemployed, no pay
No funds to pay the electric bill
Service disconnected. Temperatures plumeting
As night sets, snow and ice fall silently apon the eaves,
entombing the house.
Silent night plays, somewhere...
while his body freezes and life ends.

Thors Night and Day

Lightnings flash
before your eyes
The sudden shock
White light in the sky
Thor's hammer falls
Trurning night to day
But then it all settles
The light and the night
the air still shimmers
From the event that took place
You've seen the life and death
Thors night and day
But in the blink of an eye
It all went away

Three Di-Mentional Firefly In Hcc

A thousand fireflies,
light up the night with torches.
World getting brighter.

Torch
firefly
holds light high
brightens night sky
lit

Phosphorescent light
coming from male abdomen.
Invites passionate glowworms.
Wingless female blinks,
hoping to attract nice male.
Will soon be a thousand more.

Still

The night is calm
Not even a breeze
The leaves all silent
As they grasp to the trees

No sound at all
The cricket now sleeps
The noise stays hidden
Like a secret it keeps

Not even a whisper
Escapes in the night
The sound begs forgiveness
As it remains contrite

Sound is the captive
To silence's will
Silence is the victor
The night is just, still

Waiting For the Evening...

as night gently approaches me
the sun spills
its paints on the sky
reflecting on the water
and in my eye
the flower is left alone
by the bee
and shadows grow longer
behind each tree

as night gently approaches you
the moon clocks in
for its shift
along with darkness
the stars also lift
the song birds go quiet
as the day is threw
and nature’s night sweats
will be left as dew

Awaiting Dawn

The heat of today, Shall vanish, as the day ends; Coolness shall return. · Coolness shall return, On shoulders of tomorrow: While night exhales dawn. · While night exhales dawn, Breath on invisible wings; Discharges fresh air. · Discharges fresh air, The lungs of the forest breathes; Scorching regions praise. · Scorching regions praise, The arrival of coolness, Their faith awaits dawn.

Thunder Rolls

Thunder is rolling like our souls up
here in heaven, Ever wonder where the
lights come from, Its a switch without
a hitch for us to make a plea of forgivness.

Yes we might shudder from the thunder
late at night but know were snug as a bug
in our beds.

Tonights the night the rains come
pouring down to wash away all our sins
away, So enjoy much delights while in
your flight of peace and harmony and
remember we're all on lease

Night Noises

On this night paranormal whispers drift
into noises from the creeping black
I look upon this moonlit, haunted night
and I let my mind drift back.

Other times and other worlds
too shadowy to speak of
drifting down this spirited path
light from crescent moon above.

Who has lived amongst these trees.
Who has yet to see this haunted walk.
Who am I amongst these drifting worlds
when the night noises begin to talk.

July

I am the smell of firer crackers in the air, the silent hum of hot summer nights.
I am the children's laughter and teenagers sighs and moans.
I am the parnet's worries, i'm late night kisses; stickly wet.
I am the splash of cold crisp water drenching your hot body.
I am the beautiful bright burst of color spraying over the night sky.
I am the bed you long for.
I am the warm air in your hair.
I am the star sky.
I am warm, friendly, sensual, July.
