My grandfather's name
Was given to me at birth
To honor the man
That my father never knew
Having died in World War Two
My Father loves me, how do I know because He does He just does!!!

above my Father’s bed,
shone a mother of pearl cross,
faithful, to his end.

As I took a mental snapshot of the moon lit night
I thought of my father, as the stars shined bright

My father is dead
I kneel by gray winter seas
Fjords echo my rage
Grief swoops down from the heavens
Like hawks grabbing prey
I thank my father
for his service in the Corp and
respect him fully
he sacrificed
coming home no warm welcome

My Father owns it all,
He is rich beyond compare.
The Earth, the Stars, and the Universe
Were by Him created, and hung out there.
My umbrella’s my mother,
My raincoat is my father
In my life’s rainy weather.

Translation of Raymond Pambit’s poem.
As the old adage goes
Or the forefathers say
Never discuss
Religion
Or
Politics
Unless you enjoy
Your own company
Dear Soupers,
tragidty has struck; could you please pray for both my father and my beloved sister.
yours sincerely. John H Loving III
Form:
I see him looking back at me,
Round every corner, round every tree.
There is nary a place that I can hide
To escape my father deep inside
My Mother liked to whistle
Which made my Father bristle
Although Mum whistled well
Dad thought it unladylike for a gel
To whistle, abyssal
holding on to the past and
my loved ones. Dad, then
my mom. My father I
see in my life now. Miss him
dearly. Mom is in my prayers.
I'd always blame my mother
My father, sister, or brother
Yet when I finally looked in the mirror,
I saw my own face; there was no other!
I inherited
my father and my mother's
cherished furniture
a sparkling vibrancy
seems to have left
the shine
since my parents
passed away.
Looking at my Father and Mother
Together
was like looking
at God!
No words
can describe!
What then is God?
LOVE !

My Father
Tanka
Preaching the Gospel
In his hand is a Bible
Wearing white long robe
Gave me my first communion
The Father - is my father.
Go ahead and be yourself.
Some will call it a midlife crisis.
Hopefully it's just a phase.

Often, I thought I was one person --
the only daughter of my mother,
the forgotten daughter of my father.
But I should have known
I have never been only one.
Sword In Hand
So, where do you think you'll be
when my father reigns down from the heavens
to destroy this earth of her greed
and deliver her to the meek
The tool to make the family tree
As a sweet pea, I was too carefree
I’ve shown to another
She called for her mother
My father bent me over his knee
Form:
My father, a WW2 vet
My mother too
On Veterans Day they first met
They got married on Vets Day too
~ I hope some day to fill their shoes
Now I can see
What my father went through
I thought he
Did not love my mother.
Have you ever
Walked on graves
Searching for
Your son’s soul?
By the bulrushes,
Where darting blue dragonflies
Flit like neon sparks,
Hover flies pause and patrol,
In the drunken summers haze,
We sat fishing by the lake.
~God is merciful
so abiding he's with me
I am forgiven
Merciful God My Father
so glad you're forgiven me~
