Creative mind and body,
Rummaging through time and space,
Aghast at the very thought,
Yonder space,

No nonsense approach,
Singing as you sketch.

VIEWPOINT
Some poets see life in concepts, metaphor and feelings
Others in cold facts and a sharp monochrome reality
Yet there is a welcome for both in communications
Life is like a game
of hide and seek.
It hides flowers sometimes
and shows thorns in peak.
I only see flowers
through my eyes
and ignore the thorns
because I am wise.
Mind movies in Kodachrome
and vibrant technicolour
set to rewind
Whenever shades of negative
monochrome
dampen the spirit
and plague the mind.

The slim line of elegance
Captured in light
Monochrome simplicity
The skirt flutters white
Wide brim of the hat
As dark as the night
Captures the beauty
Of shadows and light
Full moon illuminates
A yellow delight
Delicate purity
Softly pallid
None akin
Of affection and beauty
Chilling
Seraphic tears
Wept
Sodden snippets
Of yesterdays
Monochrome
Reminders
Without order
Devolving back
To nothingness
Amorous and beautiful
But so cold
The sky matched his mood
wisps of clouds
floating across his mind
monochrome memories
like old laundry
strung up on a line
he pictures a bright colored flower
in the corner of his mind
he reaches out to touch her
and the essence that abounds
As fragmented skies weep
My night of gray

And cobblestone
Dreams silently await

It's a joyful riot of deep emerald satin,
this morning's monochrome
of green.
It taints and paints the vast grasslands
that undulate like slowly
swelling waves,
chasing one another across shimmering
shorelines that kiss the
distant horizons.
.
Thread of love,
in each vibrato,
whispers.
A melancholy,
that disperse,
the colors,
of hers.
String of love,
in each octave,
played.
A monochrome,
that displayed,
the hues,
of hers.
Knot of love,
in each tempo,
echoes.
A melody,
that reels,
the feels,
of hers.
Form:
I collect antique embroidery pattern
a handiwork through generations
On yellowed paper
with a few tears and edge wear
A project I pick up when time is quiet
each stitch for relaxation
Grandma’s pattern renewed
- embroidered in monochrome blue
An angel's carpet dream
woven in the sky; amidst the clouds
a true utopian abode, a perfect oddity
Somewhere on the monochrome rainbow
little miss sunshine cry
failed to awe the morning blend
And the human, waits.
for the clarity of their mind,
a manifestation of eternal question
winter into spring
monochrome takes on color ~
summer hastens in
spring into summer
fading from green to yellow ~
frenzied fruitful fall
summer into fall
royal gems explode in trees ~
white winter enters
fall into winter
colors fade to nothingness ~
spring rises anew
