icicles on gutters

icicles on gutters

glisten in light
of early morning

reflections of sun
when sitting alone
my dreams of spring
Form: Verse

Apparitions

morning stillness

I sit at my table
and look out the window

after rain
the sun pokes through clouds
waking dreams

I watched Mike Tyson fight
At 58 was no delight sight
But respect to him
For going to the gym
I guess the money was right

Premium Member Mike the Monk

Mike The Monk had a habit,
He liked to eat fresh oysters.
He'd buy a dozen to take away,
And swallow them in the cloisters.

Home

an unpacked suitcase is sitting in my room
the quiet side street in front of the house broken
the sky outside my window a highway to the stars

Premium Member Mike Johnson Is Peachy Keen

Will the house our cadaver impeach?
Mike's abused his freedom of speech
With head in the sand
Johnson takes command
Like a selfish son of a beach

Mighty Mike

Mighty Mike

Mighty Mike always drove women wild
poor girlfriend got fed up and then filed
was a smooth talker
was not a stalker
now Mighty Mike is tuckered out mild

Mad Mike

Mad Mike
Lives in The Madhouse,
He's Mad
Just like you or I,
Pondering dreams,
But the difference between
Mad Mike
&
An Average guy,

Is that he actually lives them.

Mike Pence:
the Pumpkinfuhrer's first V.P., some thought he was kinda dense.
But he proved to be a man of honor and resolution
when, in '21, he stood up for the Constitution.

Mike and Mental Paraphernalia

His mental paraphernalia seemed so profound;
To be a tremendous poet he was surely bound;
Poems revealing,
And appealing,
God had given to Mike while on the Ground.

From Trump Grabbed Mike

From Trump Grabbed Mike

Trump made noise  so we grabbed mike;
What he had been saying no one did like,
Very perturbing,
And disturbing,
And we all did tell him to take a long hike.

She Laughed Her Ass Off - Homage a Mike

She laughed all day
She laughed all night.
She went to bed
and had a fright.
Her ass was gone.
It wasn't there.
She laughed it off.
but didn't care.

Inspired by Mike Gentile's "She Danced her Heart Away"

trinkets stored
remembered

the box opens
a swath of cloth

when
remembered

Mike

The way you look at me with your eyes all starry eyed.
With the way you say hi.
Makes me get chills down my spine.
Loving you is like no other.
I know you don't know me well.
But I just wanted you to know that I love you.

Clouds, Rain and Winds of March

clouds cast shadows
rain here, snow elsewhere
winds from the north
today
I sleep in, then write
verse to share
my love
I wish she was here
my love
verse to share
I sleep, in then write
today
winds from the north
rain here, snow elsewhere
clouds cast shadows

cyclist MIKE WHO FALLS OFF HIS BIKE--

There was a man named Mike
who used to ride a bike
he keeps falling, for petes sake
He made a mistake
guess he should have bought a trike
