Halfway Down the Road
Having passed the midpoint, I came to a stall. The known half’s behind me, the future ain’t clear, all those years gone shifting, from gear to gear. No U-turns allowed, one way gotta roll, can not pull the same old tricks, thrills and spills an’ all. What was distant now seems near halfway down the road.

Continuum's Midpoint
sum total
of recollections,
of expectations, life;
all that can no longer be undone,
all that is yet to be done;
what has finally gone,
what is yet to come;
the irretrievably lost,
the hopefully promised,
a continuum
of everything that was,
is, will be,
the midpoint
of which
is the here and now,
the two of us,
you,
me....

Premium Member But Weight, There's More
I’ve hit a bit of a plateau; the weight is now coming off slow. It’s not that I’m lazy; it’s just kinda crazy thinking I’ve got ten more pounds to go!
---------- Can't complain - it has gone really much better than expected! Weighed 249 on October 26th, and weight 212.5 this morning. The goal weight is 202, the midpoint of the "normal" BMI range for a 6'6" person......

Balance Between Life's Extremes
Ah middle octave's musical note C,
Balancing left-right hands, a resting point,
And marked white all over the central key-
Piano players do as it appoint.
 And beginners' first lesson, middling joint ,
Watering hole for fingers to return,
To, a lesson of a lifetime to learn,
That life's opposites tend to dwell extreme,
A rudder that wont let life wide off turn,
Buddha's midpoint of poise rising like cream!

Divinity Chosen
Do three dimensions,
preclude a fourth

Does pointing toward South,
prevent being North

Is now just the midpoint,
between future and past

Does the freedom to choose,
leave all nature aghast

Is one and one two,
if one is in doubt

Are the whole or its parts,
what this world is about

Are Creation and Physics,
at war with themselves

Is Divinity chosen
—willed unto one self
