Wine In King's Glass

On the metamorphic I sprouted
Sun and snow I braved;
With sickle I was weaned
Pain of pressing who can stand?
Let no one envy me:
Wine in King's glass.

Premium Member Ode To Ellen

You’re my symphony
the blood that runs through my veins,
ageless and timeless
like the metamorphic Rose
you came to dwell in my life!

I Cry Rivers For the Ocean

Republican fountain flows black
 on blue seas metamorphic rock,
draining the earth’s core dry.
Greed streams while oceans cry.
The sea is sick but I’m shell shocked.

Discernment shock breaks the mirror
shattered elusive façade flung in debris
deluding mask creates chameleon entity
an obsessive act of metamorphic alchemy.

Premium Member Harboring a New Idea

breaking a new idea wide open
dazzling myself with anticipation of possibilities
futuristic particles of hope pour into my soul
I anticipate a metamorphic change
I am transmogrified into a new me
as I let her take up residence in my brain

Igneous Rock

Sedimentary and metamorphic rock
From earths mantle or crust
Host of tungsten granites and diorites

Intrusive extrusive and hypabyssal
Of batholths sills and dikes
Eruptions of subaerial volcanoes

Continental crust
A pacific ring of fire
4030 million years old

Premium Member Rebirth

The mighty Oak and Sycamore
shaking off the morning dew,
mist that mingles undaunted
tiny footprints follow the view.
For here where dawn kisses the breeze
quaky carpets of “Holly Blues”
Amongst the sweet scent of honey
behold a metamorphic cruise!

YangEgo is endosymbiotic
as Yin EcoHome grows ectosymbiotic.

These two faces of cooperative change
dipolar co-arise creolization,
transubstantiation,
metamorphic re-acclimation
within as without;

Interior landscape evolution
as exterior climates of great and small transitional revolutions.

Premium Member A Haiku Rambling of Fate

Dying to be free,
A fish leaped out of its bowl
And became lifeless:-

Cocooned black worms hang;
Strange metamorphic justice–
Butterflies soar free…

Decay demanded eggs…
Chalk-colored maggots complied–
Hued flies flew away:-

Caged birds sing the blues
After watching a free fish
Flying from its bowl:-

Metamorphic - a Change For the Better

And did you really know before
What on earth is a meta for?
It makes you understand, I think
What changes when you have a drink
Another example might well be
What changes when you carve a tree
And as for metabolic rate
That’s why your fat me dear old mate
Whereas a metaphor If sought
Might just give you some food for thought

Premium Member The Miracle Of Evolution

Do not stare in unbelief
Or marvel at the moment of a miracle
Rather stand in complete relief
That energy has shown itself completely
In metamorphic perfection

Metamorphic elements in pure perfection
Evolve and become the seeds
The next stage of evolution
Be not in a state of amazement
But content in each moment of the process

Glass Eyes

Oh great Devone is Standing in the sky wearing a belt of stars encompassing his acetabulofemoral. Dichromatic eyes in which one is a black hole and the other a sun. A menage of gods that reside in a flying lighthouse designed by men with heads of ants and symbols written all over their bodies. The children of Devone who were moths with heads of alligators metamorphic to an elfish angel of doom.

Premium Member I Danced a New Truth

I twirled the blind side of my imagination
She landed in a bow but did not bow
visualizing my muse’s scoff
but it never came

Adding metamorphic truths
to my delicate repertoire
my cosmic soul winked at me
causing thunderous applause

misunderstanding I danced my new truth
thinking my muse and I were on the same wavelength
but of course she surprised me again
by pulling the rug out and letting me tumble to my death

People Trapped In Marble

Proof that an indivisible portion of time exists,
Frozen in that time, unchanging,
Morphed into the metamorphic rock, forever,
Hacked, packed, moved,
masoned into walls of a ritualistic enclosure

I can drink on them for hours,
Look into their eyes,
Isolated, purified, distilled to 175° proof,
One expression, one thought, one pain,
...maybe that is why I can see them

Or maybe I just spend too much time in that room

Meaningful Morpheme

They appear innocent enough
Those symbol sounds that every child
Memorizes before they know
What they mean or what they’re used for.
(A)(B) (C) (D) (E) (F) gee! What
A rhythmic, sonorous singsong;
But when their lettered chemistry
Is formulated into words
The combined sounds begin
A metamorphic change
Like the lovely word butterfly.
When it’s clearly spoken out loud
It conjures an image as real
As a butterfly on the wing.

Memories

My wife created a collage
More than thirty-one years ago
With colored photographs of me
In different running poses.
It still hangs from the wall above
My cluttered oaken desk, staring
Down at a metamorphic man
Unrecognized from the captured
Faded phantoms frozen in time.
It’s no wonder why memories
Remain so near and dear to us.
Their existential, uniqueness
Remain unchanged throughout time
Whereas, all else dies a slow death.

Premium Member Set In Stone

Petrology, geology, call it what you may Minerals of many are around us every day Igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic are the main Their seams grace our planet, they are her veins The next time you walk your streets, take a look around For many rocks and stones, are everywhere to be found Where would we be without them, many structures would never be here If it wasn't for many millions of years, and this beautiful earthly sphere

Chemical Compounds

A Chemical Compound
in an orderly manner.
They're found on the ground,
classified by a scanner.

An outcrop in Costa-Rica -
many of these contain Silica.
Some are even Volcanic-
explosions are quite manic.

Its just like Me and You!
Special, Unique and some blue.
Igneous, Sedimentary, Metamorphic too-
I've heard that before, like de-ja vu!

It is Sharp or Smooth,
It is like a Bone,
It can be found in a Booth,
But what really is STONE?

Meaningless Complex Sex

Tantalizing paws upon her finessed bust
Potent mindful deception over her anatomy
Forced wrench of her vibrant razzmatazz cowlick
A metamorphic transformation within
Dissonant mar amongst her collar
Whomping breeze out of her bronchi
Writhing towards that holy grail
Orgasmic passion trickles down her spine
Contortionist psyche without a footprint of regret
A Woman brimming with a phobia of reality
Demands to be exposed to her rightful residence
In this hideous terrene around her
