Premium Member Wood fences versus metal fences

Wood fences are better neighbors they keep the outside world out when metal fences let you see what you don't want to see

Metal On My Knee

I can see small pieces of metal on a knee
and I walk into a shadow
and puts me down
because my pants
black and worn
not shall gleam as polished metal
over the knees

Unprecious Metal

The corrosion of Time
On your iron-wrought rhyme
Is the color or reddening must.

Though you write what you feel
It is iron or steel
Never gold, so it powders to dust.

Metal and Flesh

My knight in shining Armour,
My sword,
Bittersweet and sour.
Harmful, yet harmless.

My executioner when I’ve wronged,
My savior in my distress.
A compatible pair;
Metal and Flesh

Melting the Metal Mind

Industrial love
It's the virtue and vice
and the silver cut ice
on a river of mercury neurons
Memory made
It's the liquid mistake
of impossible break
on a spiraling psyche for aeons.

I'll soon be stepping over you
to eternal blue
Your warm sunshine

serene comfort's last embrace
Home at last

Nagaski Metal Story

Disaster by metal
Metal destroyed
That left standing
Leaves behind a tale
With a mouth that cannot speak
With ears that cannot hear again
With eyes that are not seen
But feel the blood, death
Of those that suffered

Metal and Wood

Wood and metal,
metal and wood:
one is warm,
born of fire,
its beauty carved
from the tree of life.

The other, near ice hard,
forever dead,
strong as death too,
never to burn--
but also never to feel....

Maid of Metal

Molecular structures encapsulate
The druids fall beneath the sky
Yaldaboath's tongue at unstable pace
For useless scapegoat ideologies burnt in smoke.
Faith, if i may, run away.
The metal maid acknowledges its use as a weapon for exotic particles in roots.

Rusty Broken Metal

The grey cloud has darkened the sky
As it brings the rain upon the land
Rusty broken metal strewn across the ground
Like so many lingering dreams and promises
The new green grass grows to cover the old metal
Now lost to sight as time rolls on.

Healing

I don’t hear them anymore.
The voices have slowly faded away.
I’m now beginning to realise that the fears,
and the strange thoughts inside my head,
were delusions built on paranoia.

Oh the peace the relief is indescribable.
They was no one there,
only me.
I had been sick...

Metal Cage

Your last time in a metal cage…

You will leave in a cardboard box.

With no holes.

We promise you are not locked away forever.

That you may rise from this earth in a form uncertain to us.

Just like you arose to us.

The first time we saw you…

In your metal cage.

Untitled #140 / Metal Cog

The moment a metal cog stands suspended
on the whiteboard by a pair of visible strings & springs
Ah! But one invisible string, one invisible spring
keeps the whole from falling apart!
The genius who discovers this secret
will have his name repeated across the universe for eternity!

Metal World

They took all my metal parts.

Which they said were dangerous.

And handed me a crayon.

Convicts, get to work!

Write away your lives.

And leave them here.

So you will all be reformed!

They commanded.

They demanded.

Until we were trained.

To act without urgency.

Metal Cage

I used to be locked
In a metal cage
I never saw the day
But I always prayed

I used to be locked
In a metal cage
I always had fear
And open rage

The time is up
I've come so far
I have to let go
Of the metal bars

Seasons greetings
Time has passed
Look out sun
I'm free at last

Premium Member FETTLE THE METAL

There comes a young lad from abroad.
He wants a car but can’t afford.
So he gets scrap metal
And this he does fettle.
Then calls it a Honda Accord.

He took it out for a test-run.
At first this seemed to be great fun.
But in metal he fettle
The welding was brittle.
Suddenly it all came undone.

Premium Member Fighting Metal Birds Leaving Before Winter-

Bonding meadows birds
Are tripping the cool breeze on
The autumn morn slumbers the sun
It is not as bright and hot
After autumn breeze winter comes
Temperatures low winter snow frozen long
The birds have gone away till spring
Beautifully phenomenal
