laughing at their menfolk
finding them wanting
but who is the dark now ?
with gilded wings they flock
like a midnight minotaur
dim of sight
They make their way
through the miers
plundering both Silesian winters
and Sumerian  summers
only wanting to drown

Calloused hands maim soft breasts
They call it genourous
When teeth sink in but don't break flesh
They like our scars
Til they're inflicted by another
They like our hearts
How easy it is to crush them
They make our youth up
Of babies we don't want
They say they love us
Looking at our bodies
They only want our bodies...

A women's bathroom needs a hook
Though oftentimes it's missing
And so our bags must sit in gook
While we are stuck there pissing.

Since men don't have this issue
They don't even need to hurry
And, without the need for tissue
They, too, lack that extra worry.

My suggestion? A reversal.
Let the menfolk hold our purses
And you'd hear, from this rehearsal,
Quite a chorus full of curses....

On the beach in a sunny clime
I'm watching the parade,
Shocked to see a host of butt cheeks
Gutsily displayed.

Women of all ages strut
In bathing suits so tiny,
You cannot avoid a look
At someone's jiggling heiny.

Menfolk, on the other hand,
March by without their shirts,
Hairy bellies hanging out -
Just looking at them hurts.

With all the flesh that's there on view,
A horror show in motion,
I try to turn the other cheek
And stare out at the ocean....
