Contumelious words sully the heart,
And from tongue they spew so sour.
But mellifluous words from their start,
Decimates speech with their power.

Rhapsodic impulses of skin suffused
Exulted passions rendering, disused
Intensely emotional of flushed amor
A mere filament lisp of a lustful gore
Susurration; within my own sad soul
Mellifluous lullabies 'till I, rest whole
Dulcet, silken, smooth voices.
Violins, their tones explored.
Virtuoso’s, searching for lost
Chords, once so loved, adored.
Found, violins. again voicing
Amazing, so mellifluous sounds.

Gentle and sweet
Ineffable
Brighter than the sun
Hiraeth
But you were never mine
Nefarious
The ways of the heart
Limerence
Inexplicable but ever present
Forsaken
A heart taken for granted
Epiphany
Finding meaning inside
Radiance
Finally finding peace
Mellifluous is its name,
August and worthy of its fame,
Romantic and idyllic all the same,
Refulgent and bright in the myopic’s eye,
Abstruse to the ignorant mind,
Keen to the witty’s wit.
Ebullient in the face of melancholy
Classic during the day, but
Habitable and hospitable in a humble way.
The efflorescent dream to imbue
my opulent languor,whose ripples
vestigial,untoward,hissing,waving
the dalliance quite sneaky peaky.
Is it the murmur of a mellifluous song
yet to be sung by the divine entity!
Is it the penumbra of an ethereal beauty
soothing my bosom with its eternal charm !
He plays flute while passing my door :
Mellifluous tune welcomes
me just to respond song of path !
Harmonic cadence allures.
Mesmerised to break stagnancy.
Music of path resonates.
How did I get favoured by the Gods,
To end up with such a gorgeous,
Individual like her.
Oh how magnificent she looks,
How wouldn’t one fall for,
Those sparkling black eyes of her,
Or those luscious lips of her,
And her mellifluous voice;
And that dazzling smile of her.
I feel blessed to have her in my life.
Mellifluous tune
Utterly sweet, melts my heart
Spills love, makes me swoon
It comes from where - I know not
Charming and soothing - an art!
