Writer Starting Out As a Scribe
Writer Starting Out as a Scribe

Am writer starting out as a scribe,
Who depicted things in my diatribe;
Never late;
Poems create,
Like medical doctor does prescribe.

An Angel's Hand
He was only seventeen,
yet he tried to win
all battles life threw at him,
acting with manners of a whim.

One day, and old man caught
him as he sadly smoked pot.
So appalled by the boy's vanity,
he resolved to bring him sanity.

Today, the boy is a medical doctor,
thanks to the old man being a factor
to his life. Immortalized in his soul,
are ashes carried in a golden bowl.

Who Am I
My father's father died
As said as a Christian follower
My father's brother died
As known a respectful soldier
My father now also died
As remembered as a medical doctor

I'm asking myself who am I then?
Suppose I can find the real me?
What should I be looked alike?
Also for those who recall me
Who I will be in their eyes?
I ask this question once again
What is the real me?
As being the creator's expect?...

He Is Mad
Once asked who is mad
So creatively said medical doctor
It's him a real mad fellow
Who easily gets out of a locked prison room
Through the picture of an open door
Painted on the stone brick wall.
He then pays dearly for thick porridge
Together to eat with steaming beef stew
Beautifully painted on canvas wall hanging
In exclusive five star city hotel.
But really not mad all the same:
The man just too sane
In a small world where
Things are very real....

Premium Member I Thought I'D Seen and Heard It All
Remember when that nudnik dropped a bucket of paint
on a canvas 'in the name of art,' but I said, "No, it ain't!"

Or the time that politician just cursed and cursed
and I told him he ought to try 'blank verse'

Or the day Yasir Arafat received the Nobel Peace Prize
and I stated, "A murderer was just honored for his lies"

But when I heard a medical doctor say, "Abortion is health care"
I dropped to my knees and started saying my prayers...
