this is not a drean
we're on the same team
we play for the green
i mean

this is not fake
these are my
TEAM MATE
My mate,
Hooked on my soul,
Breathe with me forever,
My line to my life in the dark,
And still, you glow so iridescent...us.
Evil can never sail in triumph,
nor can it be dismasted

new class
it was a gas
meeting someone knew
my mind flew
as I sit my paces
faces face
without debate
with my
EYE CONTACT
CLASS MATE
The little chattering
blackbird
gives me advice
get on with life
disregard the noise
the world is my oyster
just make
the right choice.
I sing yet no response.
It's lonely out here in the wild.
Resolved to find my mate.

There's a light
I do not know it
But I feel it
All the more
There's no light
But it burns
And I feel it
Despite snuffing out
The glow before
Asks a moon mate
if I still feel that subtle
flame beneath my heart
when she seeks to reach for me
I smile at her fleeting warmth
and move ahead
I once had a mate called Jock
Who used to swim in the loch
But his trunks got messy
When he bumped into Nessie
The poor bugger really got quite a shock.
If you have a soul mate
Here on earth, but
You never get to meet them,
When you die and
Hopefully go to
Heaven, will you get
To eventually greet them?

satin blue bowerbird, serious now
needing a mate, his nest must be a wow!
showing his upper crust
something blue is a must
luckily his daddy has shown him how
you walked out of my dreams
into my life that day
the day that changed my life
when you became my wife
and filled my life with love
that date I met true love
An aging old sea captain named Hook,
Was a bloodthirsty pirate and a crook.
He leaned as he stood,
On his left leg of wood,
And from only his right eye he did look.
This is a challenge
Even for me,
As acrostics aren't
My strong point...
My friends however
Are far more clever and may
Thrill us all with something
Even better!

you are my soul mate
forever and always
in the eyes of the Lord
you bring me happiness
you bring me saddness

Making good moves
Until one of the two will surrender.
Exciting as it is to play so cool.
Win or lose, mime.

Concede.
Check!
Another branch falls
from the once glorious tree.
Can it be the ice has won?
Beneath frigid earth
the last frostbitten root curls.
Another winter trophy.

Miserable Mate
Are things that men have to tolerate;
Women came first and him did berate,
Why have to stoop,
To a nincompoop,
And miserable man she called her mate.
Jim Horn
He searched every street in town but his own,
Ignoring his best friend who loved him so
For a perfect wife, who would make a great home,
His soulmate put there by angels years ago….
Who would ever thought it would happen
In a week you became an attachment
A whirlwind of romance and passion
Two souls together in an instant attraction
Now are life long companions
In this ugly world of mistrust and hate
A redeeming factor is when love resonates
Above all else
Even a lifetime of wealth
Can't compare to the caring of a loving mate
your heart beats with mine,
side by side,
your smile lights up my day,
a shimmering shine,
i see your cloudy eyes,
staring through mine,
the glow brighter,
than the stars in the sky.

displaying his intentions ~
