Take a pinch of honesty,
a little of truthfulness,
a spoonful of sincerity,
a bowl of hard work,
and a jar of liquid pleasant nature,
mix them all together,
till they gel,
really well,
then marinate me in it,
till I get soaked,
to my each croaking pore,
when done,
draw me out,
dry me,
and leave me free....

it varies with the main ingredient-Man,
and on his quality,
somewhere you may need a palmful of honesty,
at other boxes of truthfulness,
at other trunks of hardwork,
and drums of pleasant nature,
before you stir well,
all of it to a required gel,
do marinate him then,
and get the required man....

i would magically turn your head and eyes my way
i guess i can be dismissed as a dreamer
it's unhealthy for me to carry such a weight
i wish i could catch you looking at me with a smile
i imagine you taking my breath away with your unique style

You can focus on the negative, but that's so primitive
So what I want to give is something so limitless
There are harsh realities, but some we just make up
Mixed up in a cup, shake up and drink up

Dogs bite fingers, finger licking good!
Grandma's cooking is! Grandpa grills
A mean steak and chicken, shishkbob
I marinate. Yum! Tuna, macoroni and
Cheese, salads, teas, coffees, sweet treats,
Turkey and ham, potatoes and stuffing,
Cranberry sauce, green beans, greens,
Glazed carrots and much more! At my door

Calling me your "Lover Man", 
you say you're my best fan...

only cos what looks like love respite,
to me my candor, you've got no insight
how our boundless bond binds so tight
and scale not-so-easily-seen new height,

don't know how you fell into oblivion,
reciprocating this feeling of love retribution.

Can't fathom how a heart can marinate & decode
a love story beggin' to be told.
