The thing about frozen iguana,
It isn't like some kinda manna.
Both fall from the sky,
But one from less high,
And eat it, I really don't wanna.
Granted, the Bread of Life's discourse
in John 6 is mysteriously vague...
Yet, joyfully accepting Him at His Word,
with open hands-- I still beg! :)
Sick slick trick playing down on you
Mesmerized your eyes with keys to nothing
The miracle of the Xanadu
Surpassed all maniacal distraction
The crocs were lined around the rim,
catching a nap after their swim,
until hearing, "Wake up guys,
supper's falling from the skies.
I'll race you for a share of him".
Inspired by Carolyn' contest 4th place
Thousands gathered unaware
Fish were sparse and rare
Seven loaves of bread to spare
Christ gently professed
Twelve baskets I’ve blessed
My children

Wishing everyone a Happy and Blessed Easter!
manna from heaven
cloudburst after a long drought...
earth quenches its thirst

The Word is food for humans
Manna from the Creator above
Perfect in every form
Nutritious enough to nourish
The heart to warmth
Substance for the soul
Eternal life is the Word's goal
Streams of living water supply its roots.
we
wonder
at Nature's
marvellous way
of converting sun's
rays into oxygen
and food for sustaining life
by photosynthesis in plants
yet hold nature's manna in disdain
choking, starving in the name of progress

Oh!How the moon
Sits in the sky!
Oh!What of life
Has passed me by?
What of the trees?
What of the hills?
What of the streams?
To what do they fill?
What of this world,
And what's in sight?
What of the darkness?
What of the light?
What of this life?
What's to pursue?
Here in this poem,
What's it to you?

* The "LUNE", (a Haiku-like poetic form consisting of a three-line, 5-3-5 syllable count), is also known as "American Haiku" ... it was first created by the poet Robert Kelly, and was a result of Kelly’s frustration with English haiku. *
A soloist Java Sparrow flits,
A cathedral canopy of arched branched leaves,
The sparkling daylight dances the vast green space,
Moss glut rock form protrudes aground sits,
Pews of raw design entertain flocks trade eaves,
Sparrows respect prompts to spring cascading grace,
Heaven gifted natural blessings flow,
Dove coos the flock of Sparrow's faithful pace,
A breath of peace on Earth nature receives,
Bestilled feathers as the sun sets aglow,
