think of criminals eating crackers with chapped lips,
and i bust in, as slightly used balm
screaming " my duty is to lube!"
...all these criminals squeezing my tube.

release what
is tight
i undo
my
shoelaces
in place of
what
are you
saying you're
not not
doing what
you used to
do this
is not
a finger
i don't
care
if you
do use
lube

WD-40
(jingle)
By Franklin Price
6/9/2015
WD-40 an excellent lube
Sprayed from a can
Not squeezed from a tube
Frees rusted screws
And bicycle chains
Cleans up the tracks
Of old model trains
So much more
WD-40 can do
I think you will find
It's a great lube for you

Lyric
British Biogenesis took a front seat
When the first bio-cloned sheep Dolly was created.
In a tiny glass test tube nice and neat.
All we need now is for it to be percolated.
Also a little know-how in kinestheics
And an advanced degree in biogenetics
Possibly the ability to follow deep,
And clear step by step directions on U-tube.
Voila! We are now making our own sheep!
I knew we could do it, with a bit of lube.

Listen to poem:
A quick study
fast learner
knowledge gainer
page-turner
info. retainer
midnight lube burner
all at sea
in a world of turmoil
choosing my words carefully
pouring oil on turbulent waters
a salve to soothe the sorry soul
picking only those
which carry weight
reset the balance
and the sentiment I wish to state
losing myself in the still point
of my poetry
it's there where I find
sweet sanctuary
