Premium Member Loris Is Slow But Do Not Pity Him
Loris is slow
but no one messes with or teases him.
His elbows are poisonous
And he has the most vicious teeth
Which he is not afraid of breaking
on your skin.

Loris is offered the luxury of
moving at his own pace, 
understanding that he will be
left alone, and gladly
travels past many who fear him,
loving his power.
Holding them 
at bay with
mere fear....

The Slender Loris
The slender loris loves the night
In Indian forests where
It shuns the light
And gingerly places each thin
And lanky little limb
On branches that bear
Gifts of food, especially insects
That the feather-weight loris 
Inspects with enormous eyes 
Wide with continual surprise 
At nature’s amazing features,
Including that most mysterious
Of creatures, the elusive,
Magical loris....
