Books like brooks bring relief,
Inspiring immersion into beliefs,
By and by, life begins anew;
Lores of life resounds, renew.
Each word distils like dew.

I'm no panda
not even Chinese
no name calling please
forget all the wars
bury all the lores
we all belong to the Earth
together give it new birth

Convert! Said the Spanish conquistadors.
They were more violent than the Moors.
We put on our mask.
And did what they asked.
Pretending to believe in their Christian lores.

Wonder
At patterns
In Stars Above
Asterisms that range
From straight line to horsehead
Traingles, quadrangles, seven sages
Inspiring stories, lores, beliefs
A tracing tool for seekers, searchers
In dark I align with them, light, am lost

Clashes of riches
For everyone wishes to be pronounced “thor”
Their hammer being the only way for them to score,
For they all need keys to unbind forbidden doors.
The answer meanwhile has been stitched to a lame roar,
He who hears it, can decipher all the nameless lores.

Her allure blooms in musty shops
Held on silver bands of celtic lores
A foretelling of ancient paths...
Of twilight-caught scarlet raindrops
Of visions gleaned through fateful doors
Of spells whispered to Welsh hilltops
A mystic gem on Wiccan staff
My opal of demure witchcraft

watch the moon in all its pure light
be engulfed by the night
no one knows what really causes it
only that it remains lit
but then the sun in its
heated embrace
takes the darkness to another place
rip it out from its corridors
and puts it into many lores
how often the moon tries
to cover the nights lies
then the sun it comes
to pry the darkness from the sky.

YOUR LOVE.
Your love was not a love
But just an entrapment
Which under urges for
Multiplication of humanity
You involuntary scribed to
Set up for elopements in
Some mundane lores of sanity.
Like a flying nocturne insect
Caught in flowery sickness
On your facial prettiness
The curse of sensuality
Form roundness of your limbs
The daily game of extractions
To enrich your mortal bones
Ease of mind but crude of tones.

This madness This madness
This curse
The plague of digital fame
The first to post
The next big thang
Violence as recreation
The demise of education
The end of creation
The last breath taken
Joy in death
The crowd roars
Joy in self promotion
A life left to lores
To all who have fallen
At the hands of complicity
To youth not realized
To a light for every corner
Here's my heart, my tears
All for you Amy Joyner

Rhyme
What was the lure, that storm
That allured my faith to feel
In darkness that alluring form
That allures me there to kneel
And yet I would believe
The lores her eyes still tell
Their lurid masks deceive
Unveiling nothing in that well
That deep place of her own pain
The latency of misery
That lures me back, and again
To a shared page of history
Hunger lures the soul to net
Its wings in webs lying cold
A damped heart cannot forget
Lips soft tease like alluring gold.
