Those who sermonize to demonstrate they hold a loftier moral tone
Are often charlatans; uncovered by a grubby image on smart-phone...

Antibiotics

inventions for surgery
more effective and
renown – disinfectants
so germs are deadly affected,

yet disease and poverty
abound – we build our
towers ever higher

loftier into the ground...

Some say stars are
sky glitter --
every girl likes a little
extra sparkle,
and every boy needs
direction of loftier eyes

every soul seeking greater
constellation

nearer horizons
I keep my sighs....

Nodding Off
Windows of soul
On misted terrain
Some narrow viewpoints
From wind twisted pane
Some climb a ladder
stepping on heads
to get loftier views
and are lowered instead
Others find pleasure
By closing the blinds
Some stop to think
and blink
poets
wink...

Ripped
The inhabitants considering themselves loftier the a sand grain
ripped catastrophic tears in Earth’s embryonic membrane;
which thus created an unusually high level of cosmic strain
on the stretched imaginations of the creatively insane.

Premium Member Ignorance My Bliss
I know nothing of
where the wild geese go
other than been told
by those with loftier eye

I know little of where
the natural streams flow
if not for those who have
thought to journey and try

I cannot say, whether heaven
nor hell, my loved ones passed
are yet silent. Content not to know
till after I go, if the knowing remain
respectfully compliant....

I took a walk with God today,
His pace far more casual than
mine. His voice a bit softer,
calmer. His visions, far more
loftier, but not views to impress
me...more like, to bless me. Not
stepping to me out-stride – more like,
to lovingly guide. His tone to instill in me
self confidence, and not His awesome
dominance. I took a walk with
God today...met Christ along
the way – and together we made a turn
toward Home.......

Premium Member The Condor
Marvelous to see
a condor soar
unlike the ghoul
when landed and picking --

master of thermals!

dark lord of demise --

which makes me more
profoundly consider

his tearing beak, and
vacant, soulless eyes

imagining now, a higher
purpose, loftier reason
for his seeming casual
glides -- dripping red, making
bleeding sunsets~ exposing
man's many elevated truths

(righteousness we use to
impale one another)

as splatters of bloody lies --...

Premium Member Loftier Visions One Has
Loftier visions one has uppermost in mind
Thoughts of conquests in the long days ahead
Often may not come as one expected to find
Like a strange, exotic fantasy in one’s head
Evoking stranger deeds where nightfall led
In dead of night when one lies deep asleep
Come fabulous dreams that are loathe to keep
In daylight hours unbridled by relaxing air
When paths are long and roads too steep
When busy-ness transports the mind elsewhere.
