Star Gazing

Some say stars are
sky glitter --
every girl likes a little
extra sparkle,
and every boy needs
direction of loftier eyes

every soul seeking greater
constellation

nearer horizons
I keep my sighs....

What a celestially beautiful piece you've woven here dear Joe! So artistically you've conveyed the metaphorical meaning of those cosmic glitters in the night sky, which may depict a different essence for every soul. Such a gorgeous tapestry you've created with your serene words and that ending, ah, touches the heart! Pleasure reading this! Sending you light and many best wishes.

Very kind of you, Hiya; thank you. So pleased this one touched you favorably. Yes, may divine light fill us and enfold us, go before us lighting the way. Blessings my friend.

Yes, all of us long for some glitter in life. It may not be the same for everyone. What a girl looks for may not be the thing sought by a boy. Each soul seeks constellations of glitter. A lovely poem dear Joe.

Yes, we are different, yet the same in Christ. As always you leave such heartfelt, practical tutoring comments. For everyone to take something positive away with them for the day ahead. Thank you.

Sighs are the articulation of the soul we strive to put into practical perspective -- I often just settle for gazing at stars and wondrous horizons. Understanding the deeper mysterious of the soul is an eternity of headaches I often need long rests from:) Thank you, Thriveni, have a beautiful day my friend.

Truly, the night sky is amazing. It is getting harder to see with the artificial lighting on earth, but certain places still show the Milky Way clearly. This is a beautiful poem.

Yes, I know; away from the city, especially in the mountains we get a grander show of the Universe Spectacular! Makes me feel so tiny...while large for sensing connection.

Hi Paula; I never get tired of watching them. Just to imagine all the worlds similar to ours, and perhaps unimaginably different...a meditation for sure. Thank you for commenting my friend. Have beautiful day!
