Gospel; Gothic-Windowed

Days then, were they longer?
Minds then loftier?
Speculating, on whose time's need
Could but have raised this!

Divine, that which lights up
For awe our faces.
Believer's and unbeliever's!
That mercifully
Passing, as it does, and plainly
Through God's own Earth-life.
Glass page on colourful glass page.
Fades not to dismiss.
