Bye Bye Monsters

no more monsters under my bed
got rid of all the monsters
I don’t think any of them are dead
they won’t be scaring youngsters
maybe they’re swimming for lobsters

Live Lavishly Sometimes

Soft lavash, luscious Sangria, savory shrimp, scallop skewers,
scrumptious lobsters, seasoned steak, sauteed spinach, squash,
scrummy lemon lady finger, strawberry shortcake, latte, lungo.
La la, lovely, lavish, some sumptuous supper!

Fish On

Fish on

    Are the fish biting
    tardy schools of mackerel
    fill the bucket up

     Ginsu-Knife Eastport , Maine USA

I caught quite a few on Nov 20th.
     Then the bite stopped.
    See you next year.
Guess Ill have to eat lobsters.

Hangs With Shrimp

Ariel in the water always takes a dip,
and she hangs around lobsters as well as shrimp.
Her dad is the king,
and he enjoys it alot when she does a song sing.
Friends of different species of Ariel do vary,
and a glad heart she does carry.
Ariel is a true friend,
and will be until her life does end.

A Room

A ROOM

You walls foreign holds up ceilings and floors
You influential windows and doors
My architectural flowers roses and daffodils
Eating quails, lobsters and pigeon feet
Dedicate tasty, never wasted
Quarts of oil long dead decomposed dinosaurs
What profits a man to gain all when lies in a casket dead

Crustacean Canto

Lobsters packed in eighteen-wheelers grapple with their feelings. A mass custody of shrimps spoon together still pink with passion. Crabs cross-dress bound more-or-less to nips of salty resentment. A soupçon of sea bugs dished up on bright porcelain plates. Fresh alien captives worth more alive than dead until we break bread.

Will Wait and Hesitate To Fine a New Mate

had to hold down fort
reality did distort
would sell myself short

what we did was wait
then we had to hesitate
then find a new mate

war went on and on
only fools would shoot a fawn
soon war will be gone

had been a big pain
problems with lobsters in maine
did drive us insane

if i told you once
are sad results from stunts
tennis player grunts

On Veterans Day

For this holiday I have nowhere to go
Around me are all common roads, what a puzzle
No guest comes to chat about house chores
On bare rocky shore are seen many a squirrel

End of the year should see a long journey
But where to go? And it’s hard to find someone for me
I should go down to the deep south for a revisit
And savor lobsters, alien music and dances maybe

Seafood

Come sample King Neptune’s bounty. If it’s fish, or abalone, what you have is all great to me. Any food that comes from the sea. Scallops, calamari, lobsters, shrimp, crabs, clams, mussels, and oysters. If it swims, or lies on the sand, it’s sure to be in great demand To me, it all looks and tastes grand. It should not be kept for Friday. SEAFOOD IS GOOD FOOD ANY DAY.

Mary's Berries

A big breasted Maine lassie named Mary
cooked lobsters for her fisherman Harry.
She leaned over the pot
to check out the whole lot
and two pincers grabbed Mary's ripe berries!

Then out rushed her fine fisherman Harry
in his arms a wood bat he did carry
he swung at the critters
and smashed them to fritters
thus saving our fair Mary's raspberries!

who cut the cheese

Bright orange lobsters pointed their claws at their brother
When someone asked who had cut the cheese
The audience began to have a bit of a laugh with their mother
For they were outing each other, with a bit of ease

Who cut the cheese? Asked the magistrate again.
They pointed at each other; the sorry chaps
They probably both did it, said their truthful cousin Win
He had spent some time in their house during naps

On the Beach

on the beach
two pairs of eyes open
upward to heavens of God they stare
waiting for stars to shoot
while they stir and cook fireworks
secrets are planted in the beach sand
the sea breaks
salt-white surf kiss the sandy bubbles
lobsters and shells welcome the surf embracingly
on the sand beach a man and a woman
watch the rising moon
listening to the laughter of tides clapping and lapping
listening to the waves laughter

Blue Lobster

A blue lobster was saved at Red Lobster today
From the usual fate of lobster ways.
The zookeepers came and took her to the zoo
Where everyone said, “Look she’s blue”.

The other lobsters complained,
"We’re all red-we’re all the same."
And one by one, they ended up on plate
As the dinner a hungry customer ate.

So next time you feel overlooked,
Be thankful that you weren’t cooked!
To get attention, you now know what to do,
Simply dress in something blue.

Lobsters and Unicorns

Sadness filled me as I had, upon hearing of his death,
Thoughts of what could have been.
He was my unicorn,
But I married my lobster.

Thoughts of what could have been
Flashing like short movies through my mind--
But I married my lobster,
So those movies will never play for an audience.

Flashing like short movies through my mind
I work to exchange them for memories I have made,
So those movies will never play,
And I will be happy with my lobster as I mourn my unicorn.

Of Creatures of God

lobsters are
god given creatures
often boiled alive
for purposes
given by the creator…

you too
are one of his
given creatures
but unlike
the crustacean
he gave you choices
in created purposes:

you can choose
to boil alive
in waters
of depression
or to warmly glow
in the sunshine
of the waters of life…

so wade in water
child—wade
and
be not afraid—
god not only troubles
the water
but
also gives it peace
with ripples of love:
remember
you have choices…
