Nightimes of sorrow that i bear
   A listlessness enduring pain.
   Long shadows creep beyond their lair.
   Deep darkest thoughts invade my brain,
   Incessant torture of despair
   My soul now lost, can i regain,
   Nightimes sweet dreams i wish to share.
   Heartbroken now, hope does remain
   To crave for love beyond compare.

fog encases around me

I'm bored and there's relief from it
that's just the way I feel
my eyes are addle I admit
a plight I won't conceal

Listlessness is visible
this is the reason why
this town's a mirrored tinsel
with a platinum color dye

You're jaded and mishandled
and your insights all but bleak
your voice is clearly stifled
I tune it out each time you speak

Maybe I need to leave the suburbs
with lawns of fake green hues
oblivious to rounded curbs
I dream of urban views...

The stars come out to play, 
To dispel the inky starkness, 
The full moon sheds its ray;

A lone wolf howls in restlessness, 
An owl hoots far away, 
Nature slumbers in listlessness, 
As trees droop in dismay;

It's surely a beautiful night, 
Peaceful and lulling me, 
Stardust and moondust set alight

disappointment
how long? 
am I not allowed to cry? 
tears fall
drop by drop
wetting my dress
nose blocked
thoughts stop
I wish to die
just get lost

of it all
Is it too much to ask for? 
tears and tatters

my head hurts

to hope
