I Sigh

I sigh
month after month
disappointment
how long?
am I not allowed to cry?
tears fall
drop by drop
wetting my dress
nose blocked
thoughts stop
I wish to die
just get lost
in the listlessness
of it all
Is it too much to ask for?
tears and tatters
I'm in shatters
not again
Oh! please
NOT AGAIN
my head hurts
from holding on
to hope
I crack beneath
the seemingly strong
surface
Today
let me wallow
let these drops swallow
me up
I sigh

OHHHHH, I felt this. Sorrow, relatable sorrow so poetically expressed. Pray I, this is not your current state of being. Just in case, I will lift you up in prayer. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Deep melancholy is powerfully penned. People sometimes land in such precarious mental state. Hiding tears will only aggravate the situation. Let tears flow and purge all pent up pain. Belated Congratulation dear Joanna on your win.

"I wish to die just get lost in the listlessness of it all" - True suffocation is very powerfully painted in words. Congratulations!

Come on, Joanna. Move out and go for a coffee near the sea side and think of joyful happenings.
