Chandela sex in the temple
Was certainly not so simple
To hold a pose
On tippy-toes
Whilst Shiva handles a limb pull!

a coating of ice
tinkling of tree limb wind chimes
whimsical worry

The tree Limb snapped off
it fell on the Lumberjack
it hurt him very badly
He kept working, tho.

let’s get together, sing a hymn
from the heart, an ode to Him
then hush the blush and be still
we are He, we are God’s limb
the last song released
bird is perched on a dead limb~
Winter sun buried

Little bird singing
Alone on a slim dead limb
Cannot hold back tears
Just learned about syllables in Haiku. Updated
Toast him or roast him
or follow your whim, and
put him out on a limb ~
But if that limb breaks
Both your futures are grim
pride, like fruit
high upon a limb
out of reach
feeding none
falling to ground in season
is easily bruised
The man went out on a limb
To hire his best friend Kim
Who was dingy as hell
He couldn’t even spell
Put his signature name as Jim
Torn from head to limb
Strength not enough to fight
Hope lost in transition
Hands stretching to climb
To a pinnacle of reverence
at least the serpent could only eat its own tail
not tear itself limb from limb

When I cut off a tree limb
Does the tree flinch?
When I trim a flower back
Does she cry?
When I rake autumn leaves
Do they grieve?

Shattered Limb
broken tree limbs
lie shattered on the ground
no longer useful
the one-armed veteran
looks on with understanding
She gasps now, in pain
As the gentle therapist
Extends her ballooning limb
~ In childbirth's pangs
Ends always justified means
rain fell from the vast blue sky
lark looked;for dry limb~
wish came true, when rainbow smiled

precariously
hangs fully dressed oak limb....
black birds run across lawn
Dart anywhere:
"lonely, mournful; please return",
picked from limb by limb--
hold them to your aching chest;
they are all alone with you
The wind lays
Sunbeams shine through
Dust laiden fog
Ole black crow
Lands 'pon weaken pecan limb
Gogyohka form....
Yamamoto Miki has a face
That stands out in a crowd anyplace
She looks like the fairy
Who charms Londonderry
With visions of ethereal grace
A tall tree I did climb,
on a bet of a dime.
Baby Bear said it was funny,
it was not for the big money.
The limb broke what a crime.
The overkill of rainstorm
with threat of life and limb; trees
swivel, sway, dancing, falling
with wake of devastation rising.

I carefully climb the old oak tree,
traipsing upon its extended limb.
Hold my breath, counting one, two, and three,
abandoning my perch for the swim.
All conquering tree
each limb stout and assuring
transforming young life
our need our escape
magpie lunge to drive us out
