Out On a Limb

Went out on a limb and lost my way burned all the bridges I know a drove of seagulls passed me by flapping their wings, they waved goodbye Now I'm heading your way, and I pray the ocean leads me home. July 31, 2021 Contest Name: Bite Size Poem # 15 Sponsor Name: Line Gauthier

Your writings are great. Thank you also for commenting on my writes. I think, even till the end of my life, I will never forget you as the person who made the first and best comment on my work when I entered Poertysoup. Unfortunately, I deleted that two-line poem as I personally found some flaws. I grow because of you.

Marvelous, Vie. This is such a lovely little poem and so full of imagery. I have often walked the beach to the squawking of the gulls and felt like their wings were waving goodbye.
