Everytime when no one was looking,
of the sherry she would liberally swig,

Orange revives me
Lifts me up
Creates excitement
I use it liberally with hot pink and yellow
I doubt that I have ever painted a canvas without it
I, green, yellow, black, white.
Yes I bought seven new shirts too.
Making things even more exciting
This should generate some enthusiasm when school resumes
I had been wearing the same two outfits
Both black and white
Oh, your eyes so dry,
Longing for a long cry.
All those fake chortles,
Hollow habits of a mortal.
Someone asking, "How's your day?"
You liberally
Lying with "I'm okay."
Okay is not the word I'd use,
Though it's an excellent excuse
Hiding my aching bruise.
Rotting is what I'd use.
It's my soul's beloved ailment.
No, it's not a bruise,
It's just a mere statement.
The man in the elevator
(Or lift if you’re in the UK)
Was rather nice, the lady thought,
In a rugged sort of way.
He’d sprayed his face quite liberally
With a powerful after-shave.
The sort that made a lady
Want to mis-behave.
She thought she’d flutter her lashes
In a way that signalled ‘come hither’.
But wisely decided against it.
Her husband was in there with her.
The Lord I now seek for His great wisdom*
Always perfect since He makes no mistakes
Graciously He grants with His good freedom
Unchaining my soul from sins it partakes

Played with, mishandled, juggled, fumbled then
dropped
Once whole but now broken, this precious glass
Shattered and liberally on the ground it lays
A motley of pieces large, small, and in between
all scattered
No longer smooth and pleasant to the hands and eyes
Broken,
Broken is this glass.
Many jagged edges are now dangerous to
the touch
Broken and distorted is this glass

Oh, it's just a scratch one has to itch
Even if in one's voice there's a hitch
And in every attempt an annoying glitch
The finished product never going to make one rich
Yet if one doggedly continues to itch
Onlookers, sooner or later, may twitch
He will finally have found his special niche

It is Red Ribbon Week at School.
Counselors all over the world are speaking of the dangers of alcohol
and other drugs, especially if you use them too liberally.
The pledge is to not use drugs or alcohol when you grow up.
I ask him why.
We lock eyes.
"Because I plan to have one beer a year when I grow up."
I am proud of this first grader.
Thinking ahead like this.

Thank You Lord for bounteous blessings
Hailing on us liberally.
As we partake of Your bounty
Not all are feasting, as are we.
Knowing this, we pray the homeless
Soon will have their hunger eased.
Give them food and a safe shelter.
That we care, we know You're pleased.

In our plenty, we must share,
Not forgetting when we suffered,

THE DAY I KNEW THREE WERE KNITTED INSIDE ME.
The day I knew Three were knitted in me
I felt the presence of life so strong
