Zephyr

Sky ornate with starlit shimmer,
a pallid moon leers through a smother of cloud.
Wind in sporadic subtleness hushes through a clash of trees
as a lulling stream in synchrony
entices one to harmony

Deep within im smiling.

Ellison Is Yet Unborn

Ellison is yet unborn
And yet to be created
But he’s always on your mind
Like a thought you can’t rewind
He is running through meadows
And he swings high above tree tops
But the only place he leers
Is the space between your ears

African Flies Make It All Too Clear

Safari buzz is near...
A continent no luxury
To domesticate its giraffes and steer-
Plows mud enclaves
As the storm leers

Yet full of good cheer
No worries-
Especially in Kenya

We're all out on loan
To the universe
Let's see what we do

Symphony

Lingering in a symphony of many:

Pondering a life without money.

Wandering about in a daze of confusion,

Trying to silence the rejection pounding in my ear.

The serpent stares & leers about--

And I, drowning in a sea of doubt.

Beware

Beware
There’s a monster in the coat rack
He snarls and leers at me
Don’t go too close, he’ll sure attack
I was bit upon the knee.
But if you move, real quiet and quick
And part the coats, you’ll see
My little boy Buster, hiding
In the hall coat tree.

Muck Beadier Gem

An anagram of my name...

Small are the treasures secretly found
Hidden in the muckiest of grounds
Forgotten for many hundreds of years
Stolen treasure, he hungrily leers
The crumbling man we shall condemn
The ancient tale of Muck Beadier Gem

Premium Member Sentimentality

is... gushing pink pillow
of floss, froth and nonsense
reaching new heights
to obtain its non-worth

Sentimentality -
the word leers in your ear-hole,
stupid and vain,
to rush sense away

Sentimentality -
the word veers towards vomit.

Twin Babies

There's no great worth
Worthier than a gold
Lovely to look at
But can never be sold.

Better than wealth
Can't be detached
Came in to life
Emotions attached.

There are weary tears
Surpassing the fears
When young voices cry
It's giving twice leers.

Heaven after pain
When seeing their grins
Giving a miraculous birth
To my endearing twins.

I Wave the Peace Sign

I wave the peace sign, everywhere I go, you know, to and fro.
As I board the city bus, I wave the peace sign.
Now what's the fuss you know, now, That I've now paid my full share, of fare.
I wave the peace sign as I pass, my fellow passengers.
Sneers, leers, and jeers. Oh my, my poor ears.
So now with this I received, I wave the peace sign as I leave.

Fractured Future's Frail

punctured palm prophesied
wielding wanky wiles
amputated alazakam aroused
sassy spell sprouts
taunted tendrils tamed
rustic roots raved

Fumes! Felon fingers
turned faces' tinker
lanky leers linger

bounty body belched
savoring moment's mesh
fate's gloom fetched

tainted tiers trailed
fractured future's frail.

Of the Sea

*Of The Sea*

taunted torrent tamed
cremating callous crave
melting meagre sigh
hoisted horizon plies
fractured feelings fostered
moaning mystic metres

wielded waves yawned
puncturing pulpy pawn
merging masticated clown

lanky luck leers
vying voluptuous fear
felon fate peered

hoisted crunching creed's
of the sea.

Premium Member Learner Angry Chef

The angry learner chef
A discerning chap
Leers at how he's going to cook
That special meal he likes
In which pot shall he make his Asian delight
No one goes near
When he's about to take a turn
Stay calm little chef!
It's only an onion
It won't make you cry
If handle it properly
Make no mistake
We'll Stand well back and instruct
Even applause when you've made your dish!

Amen.

Invisible Bruise 1

cobalt jeers, sapphire leers oozing with color
how does a poet describe an internal bruise?
jay-bird jeers leave a speaker mentally out-of-focus
the litmus test of leers, the person who feels scared

tears tinged with turquoise kept hidden in public
pour from denim hearts, alone in bed at midnight
Flowing from fluorescent fears no drug can numb
leaving black and boo-hoo marks for months on end

Adolescence Lent

Somehow the sun leers from beneath the earth
Today the same as yesterday
Nightmares haunt the moments since
Broken and bruised
your image trickles through my mind
On some occasions
bright and vivid
held within my hand
childhood spent
adolescence lent
to times of wasted hours
A broken vase
of forgotten times mended
with so much care
but your no longer there
And time with twisted twain
just prolongs the pain

Premium Member A Scorned Moon

I know we've wept a sea of selfish, childish tears,
try your best to see beyond those faded fears.
Why hurt you or me after so many happy years?
Cry not; think of how we would dance and drink a few beers,
spry as young lovers could be, sharing our hurts and cheers.
My hand on your knee; we'd oft talk till Dawn appears;
If you let me, I'll whisper love words into your ears,
nigh onto the wee hours while a scorned moon leers.

The Art Isn'T Enough

The art isn’t enough
To keep my head up
The time is getting tough
It calls every bluff
The air will cut
The waters will run
Red with fear
Anxious destruction nears
Chipping my lofty ears
The darkness leers me
My loathing legs can’t flee
My haughty hands can’t escape
My faulty fingers won’t budge
My falling feet lock
My heated head will stop
My broken body will drop
All to rise again
At the opportune moment in the morning

Voices

I believe in the power of choice,
	The influence of a voice,
	That none can rejoice;
	The loud noise,
	That none are poised,
Hazed, crazed, lost in a daze.

Love does not heal the heart; affection covers the cracks that break it apart.

I believe in the joy of the fear,
I believe words falling mute upon keen ears,
I believe the pain of the truth that leers,
Pain nears, endless tears, goodbye my dears.

And I believe the shadow of lies sears.
