Leaning

leaning on life
but holding onto death
realizing how life and death
begin and end but not knowing
what the trueth behind it is

Strangers

Willow tree leaning, hunched
Weeping leaves into steams skipping
Over stones and decaying twigs.

Ships that pass unseeing
In the shade.

Dreams of Trees

The trees all nestled ‘round the shore
Leaning out to watch the fish
Waving with their leaves galore
They cheer and dream what trees can wish

Leaning on the rail,
Clasping a clutch bag of dreams.
Sea spray blends with tears.

Words' Sad Burden

Words' sad burden
Most stay clear of
When asked, in leaning, to bear.
Yet when tear-dropped
Of greater weight
Do rush, their support to share.

Leaning Against the Hours

I awaited a
chance in adjustment
and in time,
was uplifted
int a tune

Now I can feel
a force of action
Strongly of time.

Pondering two thoughts

Leaning into me, you brought your long dark lashes right up next to mine. Butterfly kisses, you said - before I’d all but melted.

Premium Member Our Hearts

Leaning to the left
People becoming selfish
Choosy
Sarcastic
Unfair
Cruel
Not logic
Blindly love and hate
As imperfect as
The position of the heart

Keep going

Keep going,
Blessings flowing,
Inspire preaching in sunshine or snowing.
Leaning on our Lord, He's bestowing,'
Grace divine,
Healing thine,
And mine......

One Builder Saw a Sticker On a Freezer

One builder saw a sticker on a freezer,
Depicting the leaning tower of Pisa,
He grinned:- I can do,
Build such houses too,
With my skill make the lean very easy.
