I lay out seeds for breakfast
Our morning prayer...

Late Summer
late summer
we gulp spring water from mason jars
during the harvest
and lay out sandwiches for lunch
and shelter in the barn from storms...

Lori
Lori,
was a beautiful strawberry blonde
i don.t know which i love best
watching her eat juicy strawberry's
or playing volley ball
Lori what eye candy you are as you
get wet and lay out on the beach....

Stillness

Suggests motion

Which suggests

Mapping of

Space and time..

In the map

Thoughts seem

To rise to

Lay out stories

Of past and future..

These seem as

Features of

Words

Oppositions

Language......

His Mistress
The ocean is his mistress
She has gotten under his skin.
He has changed his address
To the Gulf of Mexico. Can you imagine?
He has never wanted anything more
Than to live off shore.
He'll fish all day by radar
And lay out at night underneath the stars....

SUMMER MUSIC

hear the many strains
nature’s all sing of summer
how then to approach

the green explosion
when there’s anger in the leaves
and dancing too?

such variation
these whisperings of nature
these fortissimos

steal a few moments
lay out sense the virile earth
wave clouds gathering...

Premium Member Its Not Suicide From a Broken Heart
My heart bleeds
Standing over myself
My heart bleeds
Red pools below
Like a finger painting gone wrong
Blood everywhere

Pictures lay out
Smiling couple sprawled out on the floor
Silent from below
I’m not moving
I’m alone now in this void

It’s not suicide from a broken heart...

A Busy Life Four Walls
a busy life. four walls
lay out impressions of the day
like solitaire: the king of ham
and eggs, the queen’s late call
and the ace of insomnia

Premium Member Say it like it is
As pure consciousness, pulsating with bliss,
attribute innate to heart of our soul,
one with oneness, we exclaim, ‘I Am This’,
being living light all scriptures extol,
breath by breath thus fulfilling our life role
but though we wish to share, no one can pair,
even though we lay out this truth threadbare....

Today I Was a Lion
Today I was a lion
I lay out on the lawn
With the cat by my side
And together
We were a small pride
Beneath the searing heat
Of the Serengeti
Well South Herts
To be precise
But it was nice
In our jungle garden home
And we would like to reassure you
That no antelope were harmed
In the making of this poem...

Origami
Lay out your struggles
Take what aves you and fold it in half
The corner, your anger, going from center out again
All you sadness and despair shown light with every shifting angle
Keep going-
Even if it tears,
Keep going
Then, with one swift movement
throw your troubles to the wind
Release your problems like paper cranes...

Send Me To Sleep
In the Ocean
No distractions,
Close your eyes
Waves soothing actions

You lay out
Let toes sleep now
Warm sun above
Give mind satisfaction

Can you relax now?
Oh, I hope you say “yeeeeah”
This pleases me....

Words would be in sync with Nina Simone's song “Do I Move You”....I find the music very relaxing. Hopefully you do too!...

Summer………
Ah, what music north.

Lay out on summer at last.
Pipe the first faint break of cloud and air.
Pipe the heated rotten,
          the over sweetened bloom.
Pipe the soothing heat in summer’s name.

Lay out on summer’s depth,
          bass along the wetted spine….
How fancy o’erspills its frame outward
And every drowsy glance is eternity....

Red, Owen V Jeremy
The colour of my party's flag
that flutters in the wind.
The colour of my cheeks, listening to Owen on the radio.
And to see Owen on the tele, like a red rag to a bull.

What we need is Corbyn, oh what a red letter day !
We would lay out the red carpet
make it a red letter day.
your always better off, red than dead, with a jeremy in your day ! ....

The Empress
Once I sat upon your throne
to visit a familiar chair
I am the Empress overthrown
I no longer rule or scare
My face is in the picture
since 1968
There is no kind of stricture
I'm sitting at the gate
I stand for birth and promise
of a new dawn seeping in
and of gifts awmous
refraining from any sin
So lay out the cards of ink my friends
and see me sitting there
you need not for to make amends
I'll grant your wishes fair....

Response Ability
With great power comes Greater responsibility they say
But aren't all human created with such power ?
Power of the mind, instilled in our spirit ,fruit of our soul
We speak, dwell and sip from the abundance of our hearts
Ain't we suppose to drink responsibly ..¿
Been responsible enough to lay out the juicy juice of our in-depth mind
Execution of those shouldn't be inept

Revolving
A planet spins with an atmosphere,

Keeping its species here.

Seasons cycle every year,

Plants die, evolve, and reappear.

Revolving around a circular sphere,

A moon circles around up there,

As we breath its air in and out.

A cycle we forget about,

Atoms and electrons just hanging out.

As molecules begin to sprout,

A blueprint to lay out.

Carrying out its plans,

Revolving around demands,

Evolving as it expands....

Sometimes
Sometimes at night I
Sit down on my bed and I
Cry until morning.

Sometimes at night I
Run across the grass barefoot
And lay in the stars.

Sometimes in day I
Lay out in the sun and I
Just think about you.

Sometimes when it rains
I walk out in the water
And I just stand there.

Sometimes when you’re here
I can’t stop thinking about
How much I love you.

Sometimes when you’re here
I just stop thinking about
Everything but you....

Realization
when all of this is over
and still the answer lays deep
a start without a finish
that would not let me sleep

we didn't get any closer
we didn't get any closure
a surface dive for pleasure
that brought forth hidden treasures

somewhere in the mountains
you lay out your golden plan
while nestled in the valley
oxidation slowly creeps

corrosion locks it all in tight
rust won't let it move
sadly, as the monsoon pours
realization stays there too...

Wonder

Make me a table
As fast as you can.
My life is just starting
I’m needing a friend.
Cut the legs thick and strong
To hold a heavy plate.
Round it shall be nothing square
Many will come not all can be there.

On the table lay out the feast
Fruits and vegetables and many meats
Wine for the drinkers none for me.
Follow it with cake so devine
To think this is all mine.
Given freely I willingly accept.
Come to the table
You’ll have no regret!...

Premium Member The Call
Hello
Can you here me

Are you there
You wrong me yet you silence me.
You spoke words that devoured my soul, now
Pieces of my heart lay out like shards of broken glass.
I go to mend it, yet I stab myself continuously.

Hello
Can you here me

I am here...
Forgive this wrong, forgive or forget
Your sufferings, the malice ways in which the moon treated you. Forgive or forget.

Hello
Can you here me

......please redial your call again.........
