SUMMER MUSIC
hear the many strains
nature’s all sing of summer
how then to approach
the green explosion
when there’s anger in the leaves
and dancing too?
such variation
these whisperings of nature
these fortissimos
steal a few moments
lay out sense the virile earth
wave clouds gathering
