Twilight tinsels design lattice defined
by light and darkness intertwined.
In surreal scene of sublime show,
lengthening shadows dance in afterglow.
Splintered hope shards,
despondently adrift in tear stream,
reflect the remnant rays of resurgence,
designs the last lattice of dream,
lacing the listless life.
Me and My Mincemeat Pie
When you look and see lattice crust,
For it does look like we had a lust;
Mincemeat pie,
We may try;
Make one more next year is a must.

I am as an infant
Reaching
For the stars
Above my crib
Fascinated so
By shiny
A piece
Of metal scraps
And lacquered wood
Hanging
By silver threads
On the lattice
Of the skies.
Tranquil sea soaks the stardust,
sparkling sequins dance on waves.
Silver lattice spreads on satin beach
with effervescent pearls of rapture,
adorns my serene shore of soul.
A lattice of late summer
comes too soon.
Mere minutes mold us away--
cups half moon.
"Semper Fi" hangs on cold lips
far from home--
love lingers and always lasts
amid the leaves of roan.
