If it is last but not least, it may be
                                                …and probably is!

Confused World
Life
happy, sad
caring, hurting, tearing
demons, angels, nature, giant eyes
hiding, looking, wondering
confusing, lies
traumatized
last but not least '' suicide ''...

Last but not least is my granddaughter Greer: she is a sweetheart, so loving and dear. To reach full potential would be providential, but when she’s around, I feel God is near.

A Few More L's For Tracie
Living with a heart that's warm...
Looking for a page not worn...
Lighting in a sky with no sound...
Lifting teardrops when a hearts not found...
Loving words that shout for miles...
Last but not least, a poet who can always make me smile......

To perambulate walks of life you need - Calm common sense, clear vision and a creed. A bit of luck, a lot of zest and hope For glowing lights in your kaleidoscope. Last but not least, your bright and vivid hue - Translucent and transportable IQ. July 1, 2022

Note To Self
Not that good because I whipped it up in 5 or 10 minutes. Eh whatever.

Be kind
To compliments, don't be blind
Do your best
Remember how much you are blessed
Be sensitive to others' needs
Perform at least one good deed
And, last but not least,
Work hard enough that your brow is creased...

This Boy
I meet this boy down the street
I love him so much he is so sweet
This thing in life about me
is that he just sees right through me
My wishes, My dreams, have all came true
I hope your wishes and dreams do too
At last but not least this thing I say
I Love You, Good Night, and see you the next day....

Abstinthe-Minded
Please use with the utmost moderation
As this is no normal libation
But if you must throw caution to the wind
Please do so with a most coherent friend
It tastes a bit better when sugar is added
Drink plenty of water or your hangover will be rabid
Last but not least, there's one more thing
Don't drink this before an early morning...

Let It Rise
I remember the times we had was like the best laughs
I remember the mistakes we wore it made us last
I remember the hard times could put us past
you could only be you in a presence of mass
less complications when we had each others back
last but not least we walked in a pack.

Premium Member My Toenails Have Life of Their Own
My toenails have taken on a life of their own.
Unsightly appendages.
Not unlike an ugly claw foot table.
Two of them have grown sixteen inches.
Curling under my foot, leaving a crisp sharp tail as I walk.
One of them is holding a sign that says “Trim me”.
Another is looking for her birth mother.
Last but not least one is making fun of the other four.
It is difficult to ignore this....

I'Ve...
I've ran from almost every life problem,
without ever trying to solve them.
I've cried over those soldiers who lost their lives,
trying to save all those husbands, children, and wives.
I've sat in school and received my education.
As a child I've been through it all...
And now my friends and family see me stand tall.
And last but not least I've found some people
who I can depend on...
People who will always keep me strong....

One Last Time
As I sit here with you one last time,
I shed many a tear
Never will I hear your voice again
Never will I feel your touch that meant so much
Tears flow for many reasons
A history few could understand
A child shared, yet not
A love that has come and gone,
But not forgotten
A one of a kind bond yet to be broken
Last but not least a friendship,
One hard to explain it’s true
As I sit here with you one last time,
I shed many a tear...

Elements of Life
Time is a fleeting river,
Sailing on it we are,
Whole journey could be in a jar,
A lot it has to deliver.

Change is there forever,
Only thing that's constant,
It's also very important,
To ready ourselves and be clever.

Memories are a reminder,
How it's been so far,
Don't let them leave a scar,
Open the minds a little wider.

And last but not least,
Is what we have done with life,
Don't much strife,
Cause it's all still a feast....

We'Re Well Represented
We're well represented
On the Poetry soup line
With people from the Philippines,
The U S and Canada there this time

Along with the ones
From Greece and India too
And there is Australia
Who knows what to do

Then we have Spain and Nigeria
With Thailand close behind
Last but not least is South Africa
That does their best all the time

That's why I know my friends
This world is very contented
Cause the Poetry Soup Line
Is very well represented....

Last But Not Least
Into ancient canyons
we raced
             down desert
trails
      and on into
the river
       no time to
lose
       as we
touch the
        lights of
late October
Autumn - Child
you know the
  score by now
        Catch the
moment as it
flies by
     it's propelled
by a fierce wind
     and there
    is no time to
    waste
  Last but not least
    I must inform
you
    that
         joy
comes in the
morning...

Standing Alone
We was born alone
but with our loving parents arms streched out to embrace us
as we grew we learnt to lift our head alone
with someone loving there so we could see them
Crawling came next and we got up on our knees alone
with the help of a loved one there to call out to us
Last but not least we learned to stand alone then we made our first step
All the things we learnt as a child was made for to be able to do things alone when we are adults.
So now we can stand alone...

Ain'T No Fun Getting Old
When I was a young man my imagination soared, my vision sharp , and my hearing acute my mind was quick ; without inhibition and at a moments notice my penis could stand at attention.
But now I am older my thinking slower , my vision require spectacles, have shrinking of my testicules and although I hear it requires these electronic devices in my ears.
And last but not least my my little friend to assume any dimension requires chemical intervention.
Aging ain't it great...

A time for us flies fast as it knows best, Fake or live it, better so with zest. Blew a few chances? You still have a few. But seize it or miss it, it won't miss you. Time flies by so fast for me and for you, I'm ready, you're set, shall we say "we do"? Now the runners' blocks, then the starter's gun! We pick up the pace on our longest run. Those years, they go by, all chaos and fuss, Last but not least, there is still time for us. August 24, 2020
