Sometimes Writing

sometimes writing is like
climbing a steep hill,
reaching the top
is a lofty dream,
each step requires
good kneecaps

Sitting Happy In My Bathtub

Sitting happy in my bathtub
Sailing my boat
Smoothly between and around my kneecaps
When she stepped in and capsized me

Sitting Happy

Sitting happy in my bathtub
Sailing my boat
In still waters
between and around my kneecaps
When you stepped in
and capsized
me

This Bird Is Going Down

I long for the night.
the night
sheaths me
in glorious
grease.
Slippery sudsy
spry and sniveling
are my friends
under the water,
between the oil,
tickling my toes
and
nibbling at my
kneecaps.

Loud and Rough Voices

Loud and Rough Voices

Effects normal peoples’ loud and
rough voices have on me are:
my eyeballs turn round and
round, my nose stretches, farts, my lips turn into
batteries.Too my chin sticks out
far far far, (bugs use it as a
slippering dip).My kneecaps, well,
slur. My chest hairs, well,
alight, and
my coat racks
ignore me.

Carnival Midgets

CARNIVAL MIDGETS

Short people?
I fear for my feet. . .
. . . Could bite ’em
. . . Or steal socks.
Such people should be compelled
To always use stilts !

Even then,
I cant stand their eyes -
Small, beady,
Insect-like -
Staring at me constantly,
Right in the kneecaps.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

4th Floor Penthouse

Waves of blue extend as far as the eye can see
raising high above the leafless treetops I dwell
a turquoise statue rests in the parkway
broken kneecaps and fingers but I don't know who
is attributed this honor dressed in flags of red
I close my eyes and imagine the battle scar
at Fort Sheridan where settlers dreams came true
A black bird glides down upon this glory
the sun starts shining through the clouds
and my thoughts wander to visions of you

Dark Water

On a cold, dark, blackened night
I walk along the shoreline
The bright moon glows
And shines its light upon the ocean
Illuminating the crystalline waters
It whisks me away to heavenly solitude

As my eyes slowly shut
The lashes calmly lower and click silently against my face
All I see is darkness
I feel a shifting in my kneecaps
And hear a chuckle
I think the ocean is talking to me

And I awaken from my trance
Hoping that I may feel that peace again

Messianic Thighs

They found her folded over her kneecaps
between the black mirror in the heart of his tires
and the grimy curb tugging shamelessly at her skirt,
her face to the sky and her eyes full of stars.

    -It's not beautiful-
She said to no one in particular.

So they picked her up and brought her back inside.
She laughed while they washed the blood off her legs,
holding her arms out like the cross -
stainless steel under all her bones,
the rust from his nails
corroding her heartbeat.
